I've liked it since I was a kid and it just stuck when I was pregnant. It's so damn popular now though. Wha do you do for work?
I work in the appliance industry. Sales and service. It's a mom and pop store, so I do a little bit of everything and the majority of the computer work. But I work "on the floor" too (selling new appliances) or sell parts to help customers fix their broken ones, or schedule service calls for our technicians to go out to the home.

Yehp, all kitchen and laundry. Just no hot water heaters... or small appliances (we get asked about Kitchenaid stand mixers the most...)

What was the hardest part about being a new mom? Like I'm talking the first two weeks at home.
I think the lack of sleep. Especially with my hard birth and I was too scared to have the baby sleep without someone awake to watch him. I was too afraid of no one hearing him.
MH and I fought a lot due to sleep deprivation. I'm a young mom too so it's had it's difficulties for sure.

I never thought BFing would be *that* hard. Cu had a "perfect latch" and there were no issues, but it would take him like thirty minutes or so to realize what he was supposed to be doing. By the time he realized, he was so upset and hungry. The middle of the night made everything that much worse. I am not good on lack of sleep (or I guess I should say "was". I've definitely changed in that department.) Waking up every two hours is pure torture. Add that to a baby that is screaming and a new mom thinking she can't feed her baby.
Here's a story: I say this, even though it breaks my heart every time I repeat it, because I hope other MTBs see it and realize things can get pretty effing ugly those first few weeks, but it will all be okay.
One night, while trying to get Cu to latch, he was screaming and screaming and I felt so helpless and like I was about to lose it. I set him down on the bed and pulled my pillow over on my other side and just started punching it and bawling. My DH woke up, completely scared because...well it's obvious what he thought was going on.
^^That was the hardest night of my life as a new mom. Nothing even remotely close to that has ever happened again.

everyone has those moments! it's ok. bfing is SO hard, never thought of how hard it is or the work it would entail.
What's your favorite part about being a new mom that you didn't expect?
him giggling. or so happy to see me when i get off work. also, when he wakes up from sleeping and i go to grab him and he has the biggest smile on his face like he hasnt seen me in like a year.
I have no idea. That's why I was asking you. I just can't see myself using one enough to justify getting one. But they're cute...so like as an accessory in my kitchen, I'd be all over it.
Also, this coming from the girl who can hardly talk herself in to digging out the handmixer when making a box cake mix.
