What's your favorite part about being a new mom that you didn't expect?

 

him giggling. or so happy to see me when i get off work. also, when he wakes up from sleeping and i go to grab him and he has the biggest smile on his face like he hasnt seen me in like a year. 

This is my favorite thing.

I can have all the lights off in his room except for a little night light on, and he'll be fighting sleep and I peek over the crib and he just starts smiling SO BIG. It's so hard to not pick him back up to cuddle and keep working toward getting him to sleep.
