Thoughts on same middle name!?

What do you guys think if we have a boy find out in two weeks= if they both have the same middle name!? Or should they be different?
Our two year old is
Bryston Michael
Micheal is my dads first name, my brothers middle name, my husbands dads middle name his brothers middle name as well.
Our new baby.. If its a boy will be
Brevyn Michael or Todd
Todd is my dads middle name.
Any thoughts!?

Personally I would go with Todd, since it still has meaning and is different that DS1. Just my opinion though. Do what you like best!

Haha yeah I think we will end up going with Todd. Just wanted ideas! Michael was SO easy to choose with DS1!

I think it's a little strange...and kind of unnecessary, especially if you go with Brevyn, which isn't too dissimilar from Bryston. Isn't there any other family name you can pluck from somewhere>

I think it is fine. Just keep in mind in addition to names that sound similar, they will have same initials.

I would go with Todd because having the same middle and last name seems a little strange to me.

My DH and his brother have the same middle name and their first names start with the same letter. It was never an issue. We make a big deal about middle names, but how often are they actually used?
