As I posted in the UO thread, the constant posts updating us on the sex of each July baby is overwhelming the board. I thought this would be a nice way to share what "team" you're on since a lot of people are finding out these days!

DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome.
131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....

What are you most excited for about having a girl/boy? If you're team green, what excites you most about that? I'm really excited for the big moment when we find out (obviously). I'm hoping the anticipation will help me get through the toughest parts of labor and delivery.

At this point I just want to see the babe again!
I was "team finding out" but my husband wanted to be team green this time. So right before my a/s he convinced me. Of course now it's driving me crazy that I could've already found out! But I'm still thinking boy since that's what they guessed at our NT scan, we will find out in July wether it was right or not.
im excited about both ideas. A brother would be nice for DS but a daughter would be fun for me! I'm good either way as long as they are healthy!

I'm team Blue, we found out about 3 weeks ago.
I'm really excited for a mama's boy (at least at first, hopefully not in the long run!). I'm also excited DH has to potty train him
(I'm sure that'll change but I'll allow myself the disillusion for now). Before the A/S I was positive I wanted a girl, but as soon as she said boy I was beyond excited.

I did not care if I was having a boy or a girl, but I am super excited that it is a girl since I already have a son.

If you haven't found out yet, when's the big day? March 1st is our next ultrasound, I'm pretty sure we wont be finding out, but it's still up in the air.
What are you most excited for about having a girl/boy? If you're team green, what excites you most about that? I've always wanted to have a girl, I have a DS already so one of each would just be too perfect. But two boys is also pretty special... so either way we will be happy!

It's not that it excites me. I just feel like I get everything in the pregnancy and H gets nothing but my mood swings, so we decided long ago that he should be the one to first see and tell me.

We both really want a boy...but I think it's a girl. We will see.

Our appointment is on Feb 28th and thank goodness hubby will be here for it! We were worried he wouldn't be.
We both started this pregnancy with him wanting a boy (he's never really dealt with little girls) and I wanted a girl but now we're just happy either way
Only two people we're close to think it'll be a boy and we tend to call baby a girl when we talk to it even though we know it could very well be a boy. If we have a boy, it'll be awesome that any potential baby girls will have a big brother. If we have a girl, well, girls just don't happen often on his side of the family so it'll be exciting.

Intuition says boy, so that is my preference just because that's what I'm imagining. I'd be thrilled to death with a girl too though.

I'm excited for a girl to name her after my mom (MN), and just all the frilly girly things. Though if she's anything like me, she'll be a tomboy as a kid. If it's a boy, I hope he looks like MH, he was so cute and devlish looking when he was little...though I hope my boy is more behaved than MH was

BFP #3 7/4/13 8DPO EDD 3/22/14, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks. started insulin @16 wks. Our rainbow, born 3/19/14 @ 39wks 6d., we're so in love!

it's our first and we don't care either way. My gut has said boy wince day one though, so we'll see. Most my friends have little girls, so that is actually easier to picture than a boy.
I keep thinking i would only be successful raising boys. I had a dream last night it was a girl. DH, and my dad think its a girl. We have a huge female showing in our families... 6 more hours!

What are you most excited for about having a girl/boy? If you're team green, what excites you most about that? Just having my husband announce the sex to me and seeing if our intuition was right. Also I kind of like the fact that it annoys some people honestly - haha....I don't understand why they care so much.

I just love not knowing, sure it'd be nice to know in some ways but I am just hoping as another said-it gets me through labor that much quicker too :-0 I've heard it helps not knowing from several women!! I can't wait to meet our new baby & will be happy with boy or girl!!!!!

I have so many girls clothes it would be a shame to not get to use them again, but I definitely would love a boy too. We're planning to have a third LO so I genuinely have zero preference either way right now.

What are you most excited for about having a girl/boy? I'm thrilled to have a little buddy, to see the relationship he has with my husband who is totally over the moon. I am excited that my future children will have a big brother like I did.

What are you most excited for about having a girl/boy? I am looking forward to seeing my fiance's ire over his baby girl growing up. Teaching and watching my little one grow. Also the clothes are way cute!We are Team Blue! Found out last Sat at our Early Gender Determination scan! I have the A/S on March 8th so we shall see if they also say BOY!
I have a DD already and am glad this one is a boy, DH can potty train him LOL!
