in Pregnant after a Loss

I guess I go here now!  I knew it was possible this cycle but I guess I didn't focus on it at all, so I was surprised when I still hadn't started a new cycle by 12dpo (I'm lucky to make to 10dpo).  I've had some increased symptoms the last couple of days and the brown spotting I had for a day after sex have to dissipated so I'm actually feeling a little more hopeful right now that I did this morning.

Enough rambling.  I got a +FRER yesterday (12dpo) and a darker FRER and + digi this morning.  If this weekend goes well, I will likely call for betas on Monday.  If you were me, would you call your RE or OBGYN?  I haven't seen my RE since July, but he's ran betas for me one other BFP cycle even when I didn't have Tx.

    ooh I'm so happy to see you here BEB!  I want to super-glue you down.  I'm not sure that it matters who you call at this point, as long as your OBGYN is willing to run betas and schedule an early u/s, or whatever you need for early monitoring.  congratulations!

    I am so excited to se this and sending sticky baby vibes! Call your RE. Mine did the betas and got me in early and kept seeing me until it looked good. So flipping excited.

    I'm thrilled to see this, and I hope nothing but the best for you. I agree with the other ladies, I'd call your RE. They will be more likely to give you extra monitoring in these early weeks.

    Love this! I'm so ridiculously over the moon happy for you! Sit in this chair right next to me because I need to keep a close eye on you.

    As for RE or OB, I would go to whomever will get you quicker results. For me my RE gets same day bloodwork results where my OB sends me to a lab so I have to wait a day for results.
    3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
    IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
    Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13

    VERY good point.  Even when I went at 6:30am, I still didn't get same day results with my OBGYN- my RE usually has the results by noon and I go to a local, out-of-network hospital.  RE it is!  I'm just scared to call.

    BFP#1 12/18/10 EDD 8/28/11 | 2/14/11 discovered that our baby girl had anencephaly D&C 2/17/11 at 12.5 weeks | no O or AF post loss - Dx: AO + mild PCOS = secondary infertility Provera after 70 days = AF but no O | Provera + 50mg Clomid after 110 days = AF but no O 3 rounds of 100mg Clomid + Estrogen + Progesterone = mixed O results, all BFN hysteroscopy 1/6/12 - removed fibroid tissue injection cycle #1 - 75 IU follistim + ovidrel (triggered 2/9/12) + endometrin = BFP! EDD 11/3/12 | Beta @ 13dpo = 184, 17dpo = 993, 26dpo = >5000 IT'S TWIN BOYS!!     BFP #1: 12/2009 m/c 1/2010 BFP #2: 6/2010 m/c 8/2010

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]

    Hooray!  Congrats and welcome!  I'd definitely call the RE as they seem to be more responsive to repeat betas than a typical OB office.
