Call your rE, but ask them if you need to go through insurance first. With Aetna, I had to get approval from the IF dept before they would cover anything at the RE. With E, I got pg the natural way, and went to my RE for betas and monitoring. That caused a_shitstorm with my insurance because I didn't go through the IF insurance dept first.

Part of me doesn't want to at all if things are going well (no spotting, cramping) but I know given my history that I need to. Not to mention maybe I'll sleep a little better. I think I woke up about 3 times last night, scared I was bleeding.

I know they can always throw surprises at you, but I'm sure my insurance will cover it. They cover diagnostics (u/s's and blood work) so I think it'll be fine, but I'll ask when I'm there. I actually did not even need pre-approval to begin going to the RE. Thanks for the heads up, I certainly don't want any huge $$ surprises if it can be avoided.
