Our baby's name is going to be Radley Quinn (as you can see in my siggy). My inlaws dislike it, but they can kiss my pregnant @ss. My family loves it, as does my H and myself (obvi).

We're going with Finn.

I had to negotiate to get to the name I wanted, so I gave up full middle naming rights to my husband. He hasn't decided yet, but he likes wacky Scandinavian names - so this kid may end up with the middle name Thor. Not kidding.

Our front runner is Asher Isaiah, we'll use AI as a nickname because it was his grandfather's name.

Our second right now is Blakely Dean. We haven't 100% decided on anything and doubt we will until we meet him.

I thought we had one, but now Dh is changing his mind. We were going to use 2 of our 3 top names. But now dh wants to look some more because he doesn't want a hypothetical 4th boy to get the "left over" name just because it was the only option.

OMG.. want to know something crazy? Asher Isaiah is like my favorite boy name from childhood. When I was in 8th grade, and we did "baby think it over", My baby was named exactly that. How weird that you're thinking about the exact same combo!

Thoughts on Franklin as a FN? I know it sounds kind of old but there are so many Charlies and Henrys running around these days. What about Frankie when he's little and Franklin as an adult? I run the risk of him becoming "Frank" which I don't like...but if I'm willing to risk it, could it be cute?

I think of Benjamin Franklin or that cartoon with the turtle on Nick Jr. I think it's cute, but I like a lot of "old man" names. I don't like Frank either, but unless he chooses to go by that himself, if I were you I would just correct people. I have a nephew named Henry my sister quickly nipped "Hank" in the bud.

I like Franklin a lot. Frankie is adorable and Frank is a good strong name too.

Open to suggestions: I love Anderson, nn Andy? Or Harrison...

Brendan (our runner up name for DS) and Finn

MIddle name will probably be Zachary (DH's best friend who passed away a few years ago) or Franklin (DH's grandpa).

My sister and her husband had Quinn on the top of their list for a boy too, until he found out that it was being used as a girls name. Actually the day they had their daughter, there were 2 baby girls in their small hospital that were named Quinn. So it has been permanently eliminated from their list Such a good name though.

But, I really like Brendan and Finn. What is DS#1's name?

I have a friend named Franklin, he goes by Frank now(he's 26). I call him Franklin because I think it is an adorable name, he doesn't mind. We also call him Tank. lol.

We're having the same issue with Blakely. It's DH's grandpa's name but I've only ever heard it for girls so I put it on the back burner. Quinn is a girl name to me as well.

We think it's a girl based of our u/s, but if it is a boy our boys name is Miles Thomas. H and FIL are both a M Thomas and Miles is my mothers maiden name. I can't wait to have a little Miles.

I have a different mindset when it comes to naming a baby before you meet them. I know I will have a Natalie or a Miles I just don't know what my Natalie or Miles will look like just yet

I LOVE this. If we ever had another boy his name would be Miles Thomas. Thomas is my dad's name. And Natalie is beautiful.

I love Reid and Graham.
My DH is obnoxious. He has a negative association for EVERYTHING. I would bring up Graham and he'd be all "Graham cracker. No."

I love Reid and Graham too. My dh actually likes the pronunciation "Gram". But he works with a lot of British people they pronounce it "Grey-em" which he hates, so he took it off the list Sad

We like the name Killian for a first name. We are not going to share the name with people in real life because we know a lot of people are not going to like it.

For a middle name we are going with Angus and thats a family name on my husbands side. I have said no to using it with our other two boys but I guess I can give in now since we are running out of names.

I love Briar! One of my favorite series of books when I was a kid had a really cool character who chose the name Briar for himself. His MN was Thorn - so I don't really think that'll help you out that much ;-)

As for us - we're going with a tradition in DH's family - the first name of the firstborn boy is a derivative of the maiden name of the mother (luckily it works out really well in my case) - and the kid will go by their middle name. We're leaning heavily toward Zane.

DH isn't telling anyone though, because he thinks it's bad luck, so *shhh*. ;-)
