We weren't trying but not preventing either. We got of birth control literally at the very end of November, LMP was December 5th and I got knocked up that cycle.

We had been ttc for 18 months, so planned, but also a surprise because I was supposed to NOT get pregnant until my bloodwork showed I was clear of a minor virus. Oops! Doc wanted me on BCPs but I wasn't able to get them filled on time, and didn't really want to be on them anyways. We were about to start fertility treatments so we are super happy it happened on its own!
TTC baby #2 since July 2011, DX: low AMH
BFP 1/21/13, blighted ovum m/c 2/12/13
I went off BC in October and we took a long vacation to Europe in November so we were really just trying for about a month. It was a surprise that it didn't take long though.
Trying - had Mirena after DS was born. Had it removed in November and was told to wait 2 cycles, so this was the first cycle it was ok. Who would've thought?

This pregnancy wasn't planned but we were not preventing either. We were under the assumption that we were going to have to do fertility meds again to get PG like we did with DS. I was kind of shocked that I was able to get PG without meds this time.

Very much planned. We've been actively trying/cycling since August. DS was also planned and took 2 year and IVF to conceive (and stick).
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
We were trying. Stopped taking BC after we got married in September but I wasn't tracking my cycle. In December I decided to keep track and here we are today . We're obviously blessed and overjoyed but didn't expect it to happen this quickly.
Definitely trying! For 2.5 years. We did medicated cycles, iui, surgeries, etc. but we're finally here! And it happened on an unmedicated cycle with bad timing although it couldn't have been too horrible if we're bere! Go figure!
Planned. We have been trying since April of 2012, got a BFP in September and had a miscarriage in October. We had to TTA for two cycles. This was our second cycle TTCAL. We were very fortunate.
We had kinda been trying but not really was going to start tracking ovulation stuff and all this month then I found out I was pregnant! still in shock but happy!!
Planned. We knew we wanted at least 2 kids and we are both a little older, so we started trying pretty quickly after the first one.
same here.....we are older so we didnt want to wait. it took us 8 months off bc but 5 of actively trying to get pg with #1 so we never we back on bc. Last month we tried and that was it. Shocked but excited!
Well, had my IUD out in December, so it was planned in that sense. However, we didn't chart or anything like that - just kind of threw caution to the wind. I honestly thought it would likely take a while even though I knew it was a possibility right away. Guess not!
