I wore my eye makeup to bed last night. I do this pretty often. But last night was different. I wore a new mascara yesterday, cover girl eye lights or something. When I woke up to get DS this morning my eyes were stuck together and wicked goopy. No other mascara has ever done that to me. It was pretty gross. I won't be wearing that stuff again. Apparently my eyes don't like it

I've had that happen before. Freaking horrible, lol.

Here, I felt compelled to offer up a newer photo. This one was taken about two minutes ago, complete with my own personal toddler! I'm a bit fluffier now. Also I should have put on makeup. I'm bad about that. But now I'm too lazy to wrangle DD2 for a new pic. Embarrassed

Yeah, her eyes are nuts. IRL they're this crystalline blue, totally amazing. Not sure how those eyes (and that hair!) made it through my Puerto Rican genetics but I'm sure glad they did!

Do your daughters look alike or is dd1 dark haired like you?

My girls look NOTHING alike, lol. DD1 looks just like her father. She's got dark, curly hair and a totally different facial structure.

It's kind of hard to tell about the facial structure differences in this photo since neither of them is looking the camera dead-on, but you can definitely see the difference in coloration.

DD looks exactly like Ds when he was a baby. Like, you can't tell them apart. The only difference is she's much more chunkier. Ds was a string bean.

NF, Otis cannot help but squeal every time he sees the kitty in your siggy. Yes, sometimes I bump with the boy on my lap. He makes his "Meow" noise and can't stop pointing. I almost feel guilty when I scroll past it.

Haha, awww. DD2 does the same thing. She'll get excited and start going, "Dat! Dat! Bao!" ("Bao" is her saying "meow," lol.)

We have to go grocery shopping tonight, and it's killing me. There's pretty much nothing left in the house. Nothing. I just discovered a can of soup and that shizz was nasty. I didn't even finish it, it gave me a stomach ache. Ugh. I'm hungry and DD2 is sleeping so I can't do what I want to and drive a mile down the road and get McDonald's. It's just as bad-for-you as the soup I just choked down, but at least it would taste better. I hate when the food situation gets bare-bones like this. Mark my words, once I am on my own two feet again my cabinets will always have some kind of backup food in them.

Confession: I see no reason why the cupboards should be bare when there are, say, big-ticket rent-to-own items lounging about the house that could be returned if they're hindering the ability to purchase groceries in a timely manner.

Confession #2: I never buy anything I can't pay in full for on the spot. The only exceptions to this rule will be my eventual home and my eventual newer vehicle.

Confession: I decided not to schedule myself for any work this week because I need to finish my art commissions. All of which were paid for way too long ago for me to care to admit when. I'll barely make a dime this week and will have to deal with a one-week paycheck, but I really, really, really need to finish these drawings.

Goooodmorning ladies!!! DS slept like poop last night again. It's also so cold here that my fire was pretty much out this morning and the living room reads 61 degrees. Burrrr. We keep the heat on 68 in our room and 72 in DS room. He didn't need it though he woke up at 2:40 and I brought him to bed with us. We were on a normal sleep schedule all week too!

Boooo! DD1 woke up like 4 times before midnight. She could never really tell me what was wrong, but I think she got cold. Or so I figure anyways because the last time I went in her room, I turned up the heat a bit and then didn't hear from her again. It's COLD here today! We apparently broke some temperature record this week. Yay us?

We got our new insurance cards on Tuesday. Dh told me this morning that he was taking my card to my Mw office so they can make a copy. I told him what he needed to tell the ladies upfront. He replies " I was just going to go in there and tell them that I thought I was pregnant and probably needed to be checked out."
i hope he does.
