We met at church during the passing of the peace.
It was for him actually. He went home and told his roommate, and I quote, "I saw an angel, and I'm going to marry her." I found this out maybe 9 months later. His roommate was STUNNED when he learned that I was the her he was referring to. And I knew it wasn't made up because Russ asked him if he recalled him saying something on this one particular day, he did, repeated it for me to hear; and then told us both that I was the her. I had no clue. I think it's kind of wild.
I, on the other hand, didn't remember him from that day.
(But I certainly did the next time I saw him!)
Allie what do you do for a living? Do enjoy it?

1. Don't bump when the baby is awake. (Sort of, I only bump (or am on the internet for that matter) when she is awake if she is not in my care at the time.)
2. Cook one new recipe a week. (Yes!)

Yep. When I'm alone with her, I speak only English to her. When he's alone with her, he speaks only Spanish. When we're together, we mix it up and sometimes speak English, sometimes Spanish.

Not forever. In an ideal world I'd be a SAHM until any kids we have go to school. Then I'd like to teach Pilates part-time. But I don't think we have that option so I'll likely return to working part-time in the Fall, when she turns one.
I miss doing something I love, that is still very much a part of me, with clients that I adore. I miss moving my body. I miss working out. I miss everything about it because I loved my job, a lot. But I wouldn't want to have to be working here, without the same coworkers and clients. It has been an adjustment. But moving has been more of an adjustment than becoming a SAHM I believe.

a lot of things. I love that no matter how bad of a day I'm having, the second I see him it's instantly better. I love how much I love him and he loves me. I love watching him learn.
