I need some help with the flange sizes on the Ameda purely yours pump. I cannot seem to get a good fit and I am not getting a lot of milk when pumping. I get a lot more milk when I use my Medela freestyle. With the Medela, I use the 27 mm flange. Can anyone help me? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
Re: Ameda flange sizes
I agree with PP. Try playing with the settings. Perhaps your body responds better to the faster "sucking" early that the Medela pumps do. Try recreating that on the Ameda.
As far as flange sizes, you should need the same size for both. So make sure you're using the 27mm or 28.5 mm that Ameda has.
Good luck!
My LC told me to do exactly this with my Ameda, Start off with the suction as high as you can tolerate comfortably, and fastest speed. Once you get a let down, slow it down. This has worked for me.
