WTH girls, let's get it going.

Here's mine -- I think it is RIDICULOUS that this board literally DIED after LJ and Blu's blowup.

• My UO: While I think it's great to do random acts of kindness, it's total lame to post on fb how you "paid it forward" in 2013. For instance: my former step-aunt (my mother and step father were divorced) put on fb "just paid for the person behind me's McDonald's meal- pay it forward 2013, people!" Oh, you so kindly paid for someone's chicken nuggets and so humbly posted it on fb. You sure are citizen of the year!

My judgment of the day: I took Nora to our basement to play, and after a little bit of her playing, I noticed a note on the floor with dried dog poo next to it. My husband wrote a note with the word poop with an arrow pointing at the poop and the word piss with an arrow pointing at a pee spot. In the time it took him to find paper and a pen, plus the time it took him to write the note, he could have just cleaned the damn mess.

I feel really smart, because instead of carrying, birthing, and living through the newborn stage, I inherited a really cute little girl at 15 months. I met my DH when my SD (now 10) was the age Nora is now.

• I think it's ridiculous when a baby/toddler over the age of 1ish walks around all day with a damnn pacifier in his/her mouth. There are two kids in CK's class who literally have pacifiers in their mouths ALL day, and my friend's 20-month-old does the same. She also hardly ever talks. Go figure.

• Can I do a judgement?

I am not at all talking about any of us. More so my cousin who recently had her baby.

I Judge people who complain and whine about their pregnancies, when they should try to enjoy it well it lasts. (medical conditions not included)

You are pregnant not dieing, Oh your feet hurt, oh your back hurts, oh you have gas, you will live!!

There are far too many people out there that would die for a chance to be pregnant or pregnant again.

• Here's a judgment from me:

There's a family I know, whose 6-month-old son has the same syndrome Abby has. The litte boy had his cataracts/lenses removed in November and got his glasses the first part of December. In almost all of the pictures I see of him on FB, he doesn't wear his glasses. I know they can be a PITA, but fcuk, your baby is 100% blind without them! I totally judge that mom for promoting her kid to be blind, instead of giving him the opportunity of sight.

I hate this logic in regards to anything. There is always someone out there who wants what you have or is going through something worse. It doesn't mean that (in general) whatever you are going through doesn't suck or isn't worth being able to vent about. Being pregnant sucks sometimes and can be super uncomfortable. Not everyone can find something enjoyable about the end result. And you could extend that into, no one can complain about being overtired or the fact that breastfeeding sucks or is super hard or teething or any other parenting thing because someone out there wishes they could have those problems to complain about. Sometimes shiz sucks even if someone else wants what you have.

I agree with Lopes. I am so grateful I had a healthy, beautiful baby; however, I didn't dig pregnancy. It was mainly due to the fact my child's head was literally stuck in my rib cage, and I could not breathe. I also had a colic baby... And as much as I loved her, it was frustrating. I felt guilty for not being happy about the situation, but I had to let it out or else I really would have gone crazy.

• My UO:
I am perfectly ok with Alastair still having bottles and his paci. Paci he only takes in the car and the stroller. But even if it was more, I would be fine with it.

I am fine with wearing pjs in public. As in I will not change to pick up bananas and bread. It is comfy, it fits, it's fast and it is what's clean as I get puked on about five times a day. Deal with it, or not. I don't get why people even care.

I judge people who give opinions and advice to parents without ever having been a parent.

I am pretty sure i have more but I am blanking right now.

Agree. I think it's a competition. Sometimes I see people with multiple kids and think...I can do that too and then I realize I don't need to one-up anyone and someday I may be able to sleep through the night again.

One of my UO are that I hate when people vaguely post on FB that they are sad or mad or whatever and it's so vague that no one has any clue what they are talking about, but they really want you to care.

I really want to come up with a good UO....I'll keep thinking.

I have about enough energy to make it through the day. I admit, it was a mix out of an easy first baby and complete and utter idiocy. And now, well, I feel if I haven't shot myself when Aidan is 1, then I can handle a third no problem. So...yes. I am nuts.

• I have another one: I am very annoyed with the Canadian health system compared to what I am used to in Germany. It seems to be a lot of reactive medicine. As in: oh, that here MAY be a problem, we will keep an eye on it and if it is still there in x amount of time we start looking at it. Doesn't happen at home. If something is off, we test the shiit out of it. Now. Not later. It bugs me and I hate it. I love my doc but I hate that I have to push for things and that I have to bring things up and all that. It makes me not trust him. And the worst? If is not just my doctor, it is any doctor i had to deal with here. So I assume it is the system they work in. And it sucks.

This drives me crazy! On Facebook everyday I read 5 posts saying I am so done being pregnant, I am so uncomfortable, I am so tired! Ugh, suck it up you know how many women have been pregnant before you? You are just making yourself look like a fool!
The latest one said, can't wait to hold my girl, so tired and uncomfortable! Only 10 more weeks to go! Ya, she is 27 weeks pregnant, you have 13 weeks to go! 37 weeks is not the end line, unless medically necessary. 40 weeks means done... And you are only 27 weeks, it's gonna get way worse sweety!

This is mostly directed at the guy at work who recently read The China Study and preaches every dmn day that meat causes cancer. Let me enjoy my buffalo chicken in peace!

I might be insane. When I was pregnant with DD2, I thought, 4-5 years and then we'll try for #3. Right now, today, with a 9 day old newborn, I'm thinking I want another baby. Someone please slap the postpartum hormones out of me.

I judge the people I saw yesterday in the grocery store who were buying about 30 cans of chef boyardee for their 2 kids who looked about 5 and 7....and paying in food stamps. That crap is NOT food and solely reserved for late night munchies in a college dorm. Poor kids.

While I agree that this may not be the best nutritional choice, a family on a limited budget usually cannot afford healthier food in the quantities they may need.

i.e. They can probably feed their kids for 10 days on Chef Boyardee OR 5 days on something better. It's a tough choice I'm glad I don't have to make.

There are definitely flaws in the system, though I haven't had the same experience. I recently did a whole bunch of blood testing (at no cost to me) to test for various things, just because I felt "off" and my doctor wanted to rule out a few different things because of the symptoms I had. Turns out there's nothing wrong with me, but it was a relief knowing that he was being proactive rather than reactive. I know you said you've seen other doctors, but maybe it would be worth it to try another one?

My only real complaint about health care here is how long it takes to get in for an appointment. I see all the time on here moms calling their pedis about a cough or a rash or a fever and being able to get in the next day.. first of all, we can't see a pediatrician unless your child has a serious illness or condition (we see one just for T's kidneys, but he won't see us for anything else). I need to call a month in advance to get an appointment with my GP, or sit in a drop-in clinic for hours to see a different doctor if it's something that can't wait that long. It took a week to get my blood test results back, and another 3 weeks to get an appointment to tell me nothing was wrong.

I really think a lot of it has to do with the doctor you see. I have a very proactive GP, she listens and takes action quick! I have never waited more than a couple days to get into see her and if I have to see a specialist she refers me and I am into see them in 2 weeks max!
Our pediatrician is awesome and everyte I have called with an issue for B, he has been seen that day!
My sister on the other hand has a horrible doctor and has to wait months to be seen and her doctor takesore of a reactive approach.
I know there are a lot of flaws in our health care but I think one of the biggest flaws is some of the doctors not doing there job properly.
