Hitting head

When my son gets mad he hits his head on the floor or wall or whatever else is around.. Do any other mothers have this happen???

Re: Hitting head

  • All the time!! :/ if not she'll throw herself backward, when I try to remove her from somewhere she wants to be. She's a fierce tantrum thrower! It's soooo frustrating! All I keep thinking is, if this at 1yrs old...I can't imagine how she will be at her terrible 2's! O_o

  • Mine will hit herself in the head repeatedly when she's frustrated. She also likes to pull her hair very hard, Idk what that's about?

This actually is the terrible 2 stage. It starts in the second year of life, and can continue into the 3's. Knowing my luck it'll continue into the teens. My kid has a bad attitude! She already tries to "talk back" whenever I tell her to stop doing something- she looks me right in the eye and yells and grunts at me.

Anyway, this is pretty normal behavior for sassy toddlers.

  • Makes me feel better that my son is not the only one that does this!!! It is so frustrating.. I have started ignoring it to see if he will stop..
  • Here too. She will hit her head, then cry about it, then hit it some more, and repeat.
  • Yes so does my son.. It so scary..
