I am taking Spring Valley brand from Wal-Mart. They have everything the doctor said a pre-natal needs and have worked for me so far. I have been taking them since we started TTC.
Jamieson Prenatal. I was taking some cheap equate "woman's formula" before, but they'd make me nauseated. So I started taking those just before bed so I would sleep through the nausea. When I found out I was pregnant I started taking Jamieson Prenatal vitamins. They have way more of the good stuff I need, and for some reason they don't make me nauseated (I know the pill includes peppermint oil, perhaps that's why?). I got them on sale for $7.60 (regular $18.99) yeah!!
I love these. Sometimes (depending on what's cheaper when I need to buy them again) i buy these, which have higher iron and pretty much everything else is the same.
Hi all. I was just wondering what prenatal vitamin everyone is taking? I'm taking vita fusion gummies. I have a difficult time with pills.
I take those, too. I'm also taking an iron supplement because those gummies have no iron in them. I tried various brands of prenatal vitamin pills, but my gut couldn't take it. I still get nauseous with the gummies, but not nearly as bad. The prenatals make me less nauseous than the iron, thankfully.
i am taking Target's prenatal vitamin, and Expecta DHA supplement. no upset stomach afterwards for me.nbsp;i read that if you are taking the gummy vitamins that you should be taking an iron supplement as well. nbsp;
That depends on the person. I am taking a gummy and asked my doctor if I needed an iron supplement and she determined that I don't.

you're right. that is true. also, iron can be found in a lot of foods.

Oh yeah, that's what I meant to include. She said if I have a hamburger every now and then, that I am getting enough iron from that. I assurd her I am definitely getting iron then lol
Re: Prenatal vitamins
2 Flintstones per day. It gives me just over the recommended amt of folic acid and I can handle chewing them up...for now
ETA: These are the "Immune Booster" kind with extra Vitamin C. I figure it cant' hurt with all this crap going around.
Ditto

I'm taking these too!! My doctor told me it was perfectly fine to do so.

I am doing the Women's One a Day. It's 2 separate pills and as long as I take it with food I am good.
I will most likely switch over to Nature Made because they are much more affordable, especially if you buy them from Costco.
