Hey fellow up all nighters! How was everyone's day?
DH, M and I all spent the day at home. Just cleaned and hung out together. It was nice just being a family. Insert smiley here.
Tonight is M's second night trying to sleep in the crib. He did great during his naps earlier but now he is fighting off sleep. He's getting too big for the newborn napper in his pnp so that's why we're trying to make the switch. I'm currently laying on the floor beside his crib where he can't see me lol. He is doing pretty good now and I think he's about to sleep!
FX for long stretches of sleep tonight!

Re: LNCI
Hello! My day was pretty good!
Spent the first half at home with DH and DD. Our realtor came over to take pictures of the house to put it up for sale. Bittersweet.
Then DH went to work for a little and DD and I went to my moms house and then to my little brothers basketball game.
The day seemed to go by so quickly! and I am exhausted. DD is asleep on my bed right now, but I'm sure she will wake up soon, eat then go back to bed. She's been STTN, so that is fantastic! Last night was an off night for us all, so hopefully it was just last night and won't continue into tonight.
FX!
JLeigh tonight is C's second night in his crib too. He's been doing daytime naps in his crib for a while, but I decided it was time to shoot for nights too. Last night he did a 6hr stretch, nursed, then a 4hr stretch. It was very successful. Usually in bed with me he still nurses every 2 to 3 hours!
Buttt I'm kind of thinking he may be growth spurting. But can't quite tell for sure. He's not necessarily eating more frequently, but he's nursing a lot longer and my nipples are super sore. So he has been in his crib since about 9, but hasn't really and truly fallen asleep yet. I have been back in there about 5 times, but I just finished nursing him and even though I hear him grunting on the monitor, I'm hopeful.
FX for M and you tonight too!
Sleepy and restful nights to EVERYONE, BIG and small, young and old.
Spent the morning with DH and DS, then the afternoon with extended family (Mother, and three brothers, as well as DH and DS), and finally got to catch up with the front page of this forum ~ I have officially joined the ranks of November 2012 Mama's
(posting up a storm every which way I turn lol)
And yup, FX that you get a nice, long stretch out of M

11:15 here. I'm currently rocking B to sleep in the nursery. I really should wrap him up in his new Halo Sleepsack and lay him down in the crib, but after last night (see 'Swaddle Blanket Nightmare' post from this morning) I'm finding it hard to leave him in here alone... Maybe we'll just rock and snuggle for a few more minutes.
1:25 here : after a VERY rough night last night (one that got its own post) lo and i had a great day. hes becoming very alert and not sleeping much during the day. but he must also be going through a growth spurt bc he is eating less oz but more often.
dh took tomorrow morning off TG bc idk if i can handle another night like last night on my own! Also MIL surprised us by taking the 3 hr trip to finally come meet lo and shes here tonight... BIL is also here. so weve got a full house in case we need to pass the torch!
Rachael, that's awesome that Cu is doing so well in his crib. M ended up sleeping for a 3 hour stretch. That's pretty typical for him so it wasn't really shorter or longer.
Kbl13, I have to admit that your post made me a little freaked out to leave Malone tonight too! I know everything will be fine but then I keep thinking what if something crazy was to happen like that!
Mitten, how sweet to have a 60 degree day this time of year! I heard its supposed to be about 50 here today and I will definitely be taking advantage of that!
2:30. Going to put M down for his second stretch. He's being so cute. He's laughing in his sleep awww.

It's just after midnight here. I just repacked the diaper bag for tomorrow since we'll be out most of the day. Today was ok. DH was a huge crankypants all day because he didn't get enough sleep. Join the club dude, and you don't see me snapping at everyone all the time. This was greatly offset by the amazing 90 min massage I had though. I wish I could hold onto that feeling. Then we went to some friends' house to watch the game and Kalista was super fussy. It's so much harder to deal with when we're not at home. We had to leave early because she wouldn't stop crying. She seems to get overstimulated really easily and there was a lot going on over there, loud tv, people talking, kids running around, etc.
Hope the rest of the night is filled with sleep for all the Nov mamas and babies!
Me and DH DTD for the first time since Hallie was born tonight. We had tried before but I was still in too much pain. Ahh...it's nice to be back! ;
We had a really nice day today. We went to a hockey game at the college where DH works then went out to dinner at a local Tex mex place. After that was rough however, for the first time CJ screamed from 830 to 12. Nothing seemed to settle him, he cried while I nursed him, cried sitting on my lap, cried in his swing, the only thing I can think is that he just got overtired, or he had gas issues. It was so sad, the only bright side was that I laid him down on his play mat to see if he was bored and he got himself so worked up that he rolled over for the fist time.
The good news is for whatever reason he was able to nurse and soothe around midnight and then slept till 4am. Phew!
4:30 here. Just put V in his crib. We initially tried crib and ge screamed a really loud, sad scream. DH got up and tried to calm him to no avail, so in bed he came. We fell asleep in bed and just woke up. He's been real fussy all week, sleeping a good 3-4 hour stretch and then being up every 20-30 min. Of course, DH was away all week. Came home Fri night and told me he would take LO at night so I could catch up on sleep---wouldn't you know, V slept through the night in his crib! Figures!
Hoping he will sleep till 7 or so in his crib now.
Mittens we are supposed to get the nice weather tomorrow! Looking forward to a walk with LO!
Sounds like everyone is having some good nights which is great!
