This is our 2nd pregnancy and LO and definitely not the last unless something goes terribly wrong in this pregnancy. We plan on at least 3 and probably 4 depending how life plays out. We are still young, and want to be able to afford to send them all to college and afford them the luxuries we were afforded.
DH would like four. I don't. I'm going to be 32 when this LO is born and I want to be done by 35. If I have one more I will be amazed. I just have hard pregnancies and don't like being pregnant. This is my third pregnancy and my hopefully second take home baby.
4!!!! I have always said 4 since I ever started planning and I am currently pregnant with our 4th .... AND very excited it is my last pregnancy!!! I considered stopping after 3, but my heart kept saying, just 1 more :-) We have Isabell 8, Jules 6, and Finn 2, so our house is very busy, but very excited to have "just one more"!!!

This is my 6th pregnancy. I have 3 children and 1 angel from my previous marriage. DH and I have 1 angel and our little squishy, this will be our only child.

This will be number two and I would love three but it is so expensive I think we may be done after this LO. We want to be able to afford private schools and college for our kids so it's just about personal family preferences.

This is our first....years ago I said I wanted 3, but it's been two for a long time now. But I don't know, we might be one and done. I will be 34 when I give birth, and I am not thrilled about being 35 or 36 for the next one. Plus I worry about how hectic and crazed everyone I know is with more than one kid. We'll see how this one goes and decide when the time comes.

I have one and this, I believe, will be my last pregnancy. I originally wanted 4 kids but honestly I don't think I could take pregnancy more than 2 times physically.
I would LOVE five kids. But. I didn't get married til I was nearly 37. And we had a ton of family stuff going on the first year of our marriage (new jobs, deaths, tornado hit our house...).
I am still hoping for two, but today I was wondering how the heck I could handle being this sick, working, and having a kid under one.
This is my 3rd pregnancy and I have 1 child and hopefully will be bringing home #2. I always wanted three, my husband two; however I am a miserable women during pregnancy so we'll see how this one plays out and decide a year after #2 is here if we go for number #3.
Pregnancy 7 for me. I have a girl who will be 5 on New Years Eve and twin girls who will be 2 on 7 Feb. This baby will be 4 and we might have another. We still have 2 frozen embryos, too!
Apparently 4 is a popular number here. Dh and I are traditional Catholics, so we don't believe in BC, so we will take as many as we get haha. I would ideally like to have 8-10 kids, at least a couple adopted. A lot of people think we are crazy, but I grew up around a lot of families like this and I can't wait. My mom had 4 and my MIL had 2 and they both always wanted more.

I'm Catholic too, and while the church doesn't support artificial BC, it does support NFP which is exactly the same as what most people on here did to chart to achieve a pregnancy, you just chart to avoid pregnancy instead. I have had a thermometer on my nightstand for the duration of my marriage. The Church doesn't expect us to be completely backward about our reproductive choices.
To answer the OP, this is my 3rd and last pregnancy. I'm 37 and have struggled with IF my entire ttc journey. I always wanted 3 children. DH used to joke about 5, but that was before we had any. He is done with this baby. However I have a very strong desire to mother a daughter so if this baby is another son I may want to pursue domestic adoption again. I know putting sex restriction on it may make us undesirable though. We'll see; I'd have to do A LOT of sweet talking to DH!
As many as God gives us! Growing up I always wanted a large family (6-ish), but I encountered fertility problems after getting married. This is my first pregnancy and I?m in my mid-30s. I hope to follow it with several more.
If you count the three I lost before this pregnancy and the nine embabies that didn't make it during my IVF cycle then I suppose I've got 12 in Heaven and one in my belly for a grand total of 13!
Before we started TTC we always talked about having 5. In a perfect world I'd still love that but it's just not going to happen. It took three years to get to this point. Not to mention $20k in fertility treatments. If we hope to be able to feed our kids we can probably only try IVF one more time....maybe twice.
I originally wanted 4 kids but honestly I don't think I could take pregnancy more than 2 times physically.nbsp;
This. I want maybe 5. I'm Catholic and Mexican so family is way important. But I am so so so bad at having happy pregnancies that even my dad mentioned maybe 2 or 3 was enough...
We'd ideally like 3 or 4. We have a 2.5 year old. I have pcos and long cycles and it took us 18 months and a miscarriage to get this far trying for LO 2, so not sure 3 or 4 are in the cards for us.
I think 4, but maybe just 3. I'm definitely the type where I will have to learn to let go a little and not be a control freak if I want four kids, but I think it would be worth the moments of chaos. I love being a mom and I find it so fulfilling and it brings so much joy. I feel like it would prolong this phase of life that I love so much. I want my kids to have siblings to share growing up with, unlike me. I would do whatever I had to do to make it work financially. I don't think we'll have to worry but I'd personally penny pinch and live a lower spending lifestyle if I had to. Family is the most important thing to me. So even if it's hard I think it'd be worth it. It could only enrich our lives! But seriously sometimes 2 sounds dreamy. So you just never really know until you get there!

Ah! This sounds like my husband. He wants as many kids as possible! I told him if he's lucky we could have maybe six. That is, if I get preggers back to back for the next 10 years. I don't really want to have kids older than 35, even if that means doing charting against pregnancy and taking wild yam root.
This will be my third, second living, and will be my last. If I didn't have such issues getting pregnant, staying pregnant, being pregnant and giving birth I'd love to have more. This will be our last biological child. We may still continue with foster care next year.

RCS on 6/27. Baby boy in NICU for 8 long and scary days before he was able to come home. We are now a happy family of 4
Yep, 4 sure is a popular number on this board! We are the parents to three boys and are excited for our fourth! We've talked about 5, but I have to have some amnesia about this pregnancy to get on board with another baby after this. I guess we'll get what we get!
We have two daughters 3 and 6. And this is our third pregnancy and we are done! We thought we were done after two, but someone had other plans for us, and looking forward to this one. No one else in our family has had more than two in many generations, so it will be interesting!!
This is my 4th pg and I have one living child. I used to want 3-4. But after having DD, if this one is a boy I think we will be done. Don't get me wrong, DD is amazing and a very good girl, but pg sucks and so does the NB stage.....and so does sleeping issues....and so does teething....etc, etc. It doesn't suck bad enough for me to not do it again, and maybe a 3rd time if this LO is a girl, but not more than that.
