Yes, it's Friday! Thank GOD! Let's see what we can stir up today. Do I have anything to confess...sure, what the heck.
Ok, so the friend, that I've been lusting over, sent me a picture yesterday. Out of the blue, random, completely unexpected! Needless to say, I was quite shocked!!!
I love Justin Bieber. When I'm having a really crappy day and I see a photo of him, suddenly I feel so much better. He's the epitome of trying too hard. It is so entertaining. This photo made my week.
I don't mean funny haha but does anyone else think it's funny that someone actually conceived a plot to murder him AND castrate him??? As if he is not enough of a girl already . . . Sorry I think it's funny.

I am seriously jealous of Lancy and all of you other horn dogs out there that desire to have sex with SO/H. I want a desirable sex life again. I am putting out, but I fake it to make it, and thats not fun.
My SIL watches a 2 year old every week day. I have met him 2 times and don't like him. I know he is 2, but he makes me uncomfortable. I don't know why. Maybe it's because my SIL has him walk around in nothing but a diaper. She completely undresses him to feed him and then lets him run around naked while she gets his bath ready after lunch. Seriously she bathes him after lunch and dinner every day. A couple days ago I was having lunch with them and afterwards while she was getting his bath ready he jumped on my back...completely naked. I almost threw up. Then he put his finger in my cleavage, but my cleavage wasn't out...he dug his finger into my shirt to find it. THEN my niece, who is 4, ran up to me and grabbed both my boobs and pinched them! They are creepy kids.

I don't really like getting Christmas cards with pics of the kid on Santa's lap. Yes, your kid is adorable and I love their pictures... But that creepy Santa freaks me out. :0[
I don't agree with the "rule" that you shouldn't give your baby anything sweet before age 1. I gave DS a bite of my ice cream the other day and when it mentioned it in conversation to a coworker she flipped! She could not believe I had given him something sweet. It just doesn't make much sense to me. What changes from day 364 to day 365 that they can all of a sudden have sweets?
I also can't stand when people don't cut their kids hair/do something with their daughters hair. My cousin never puts a clip or anything in her 2 year old daughters hair and it is wild and all in her face. You would totally judge an adult with their hair everywhere and untamed, so why is it okay to let your child walk around like that? Pet peeve!
I think this is nuts. She's a toddler! Who cares if her hair is wild? You wouldn't judge a toddler who makes a mess when they eat, but you would judge an adult. Toddlerhood and childhood are the perfect time to be a mess. I think people who fuss over their baby/toddler/child being immaculately clean are ridiculous. They're just kids!

My daughter is only 9 months and won't keep her bows or hair ties in her hair, and I am sure as heck not going to cut her hair because of it. Let's wait and see how easy it is to keep your kids immaculate when they're 2.
I DO think that if a child is older, like around 7 or 8...something needs to be done with a child's hair. A pastor from an old church I went to had an 8 year old whose hair was always a mess. She looked like she lived in a van...they most definitely did not live in a van, it was the parents fault because they just didn't care enough to sit her down and brush her hair and pull it back! It drove me nut!

I don't look at it the same way I look at a kid getting messy while eating. I think of it more as - you have the control over your child's hair, if their hair is getting so long that it is in their face you need to either cut it or put some type of barrette or something in it. It doesn't bother me if a baby/toddler/child makes a mess. My cousins daughter either needs bangs or a hairband because she is starting to look like cousin it. She is always tilting her head all different directions to try to see out of her hair while she is playing.. a simple barrette would solve it.
I have to agree with RNMama on this one! Especially if the poor kid can't see! If you're at home and going nowhere, ok fine. Her hair doesn't have to be fixed and immaculate. And even though "she's just a kid" why should she not be presentable in public?

Guuuurrrl. You gotta talk to your hubs and tell him what you like. DH knows exactly what makes my toes curl and he goes out of his way to make it happen. (: Try asking your hubs what he really likes and do it! He'll (hopefully) return the favor!
I'll agree with this too. My hubs gets all kinds of crazy excited when I tell him what I want, because he [thinks it's fun and] knows he'll get the same in return.
I also come up with things that I think sound... good... and he's always down for trying something new.
This might sound selfish [ok, it DOES sound selfish, because it is!] but I go in to sex thinking about what I want, and what will make me happy. Hubs is seriously just happy getting it in, so he's pretty much always happy following my lead [or taking the lead, if that's what I ask for!]. I make sure to throw in things that he likes, but I do focus on pleasing myself quite a bit.
...and now I'm throwing out sex advice over the Internet. oh well, hope it helps!

This reminds me. Last night DH smack my butt and said "you've been a bad girl" and we both busted out into laughter. We laughed for 15 minutes before we proceeded to DTD. We just can't get into role play. I don't know how some of you ladies do it. It's just so funny.

Keeping Aria clean and her hair brushed/out of her face is as important to me as making sure she eats healthfully and gets enough sleep.

You've obviously not tried to get baby rubberbands into a wiggly child's hair. My DD lets me get the hairband wrapped around 2 -3 times and then takes off before it's secure. I try to keep a barrette in it when we are out but now she grabs it and pulls it out. The hairbands stay longer but it's hard to get her still enough to put one in. I don't want to cut it yet so I just do the best I can. I hope though by age 2 I have this down to a science

Eh. Laura has long hair. It's really thin. As soon as we brush it, it's a hot mess again. Clips don't do a good job of holding it (because it's so thin), and pony tails look really dumb (it's too long and thin). I suppose I could shave her, so that she's neat and tidy... But I don't really care too much if y'all want to judge my kid's crazy hair. Judge away, I think it's adorable.
I think my post was misinterpreted here. I am not talking about keeping your 2 year old immaculate for presentation. I am just saying, I think it is the responsibility of the parent to try to keep their child's hair from being in their face all the time. I'm talking about a situation with my cousins child where the girls hair is all one length and constantly in her face and covering her eyes. She is always trying to push it out of her face or see around it. I wouldn't cut my daughter's hair just because it is long, but I would probably consider giving her bangs or trimming in around her face so it is not always in the way. I don't keep my son immaculate now and I definitely know he won't be that way when he is 2!
The girls act like I'm waterboarding them when I try to do their hair. I've tried everything - doing it while they're on the changing table, while they're sitting, while they're standing, while they're eating, while they're playing, while I'm talking to them, doesn't matter, they hate it. And that's just putting a clip in - it's 10 times worse when I do a ponytail (and forget pigtails, only my sister manages those). Most of the time I just don't bother, especially with clips since they fall out easily. I don't want to give them bangs because I think it's much easier to deal with longer hair that I can stick a headband in or pull back eventually, but for now their hair is in their eyes most of the times and annoys the heck out of me but it's not worth the fight.

I think it's really more of an issue of the poor kiddo not being able to see!
There is a family at my church - they have 5 girls (two ets of twins and the oldest is a singlet!). They NEVER come to church clean. Not like, oh so and so forgot to brush her hair. The girls are D-I-R-T-Y. It is literally to the point where I want to call DCF because they are so gross. They never - ever - wear clothing appropriate for the weather (flip flops on a 3 year old in december? wha???) and when I tactfully brought this up to the parents they said, "We let the girls decide what to wear." Ok, I get that to a certain extent but come on?
Also, the girls don't like baths so they only do it when they want to. Ummm..NO! You are a parent FFS! You are responsible for making sure your children are taken care of and once a week baths for 3, 5 and 7 year old girls is NOT CUTTING IT!
So, my FFFC is that I judge the hell out of this family and consider them dirty hippies.

I'm not judging, that's just how I feel about it. Aria's hair is just coming in now, so I have no idea what I'll actually do when this is an issue. I have a game plan, but we all know how those plans usually work out.

Nah. I push it back behind their ears or to the side a lot, but if it bothered them then they would sit still and let us fix it!

Well, yeah. It ends up in her eyes from time to time. I'm hoping that we're just dealing with an awkward phase right now, and when it grows longer it'll be easier to put back behind a headband or into a ponytail. Bangs seems like a maintenance nightmare. My little cousin used to hide scissors all over our house, so that she could "trim" her bangs herself when they got in her way. I'd much rather Laura could just put it behind her ear when she gets to that age.
On the subject of hair...I cannot stand long hair on boys/men. Seriously, I want to chase them down and shave their head when I see any male with hair long enough to put a clip (barette, ponytail, whatever) in.

She looked like she lived in a van...they most definitely did not live in a van, it was the parents fault because they just didn't care enough to sit her down and brush her hair and pull it back! It drove me nut!
Ava has crazy wild hair and most days, it is out of her face in some way, but either she pulls it out, other daycare kids pull it out, or it falls out due to her craziness. Let alone the fact that I can only get her to sit still for like 2 sec. to be able to put it up and it lessens everytime I need to fix it. There are days you would definitely not like how my childs hair looks but I cannot keep up with it and am not ready to cut it yet.

Sorry to quote on this again but bangs also aren't that easy either. We gave Ava bangs when she was really little but had to stop as the upkeep was ridiculous, they could have been trimmed every 2 weeks, I do not have time for that!

On the subject of hair...I cannot stand long hair on boys/men. Seriously, I want to chase them down and shave their head when I see any male with hair long enough to put a clip (barette, ponytail, whatever) in.

Exactly. No desire at all to deal with bangs. We'll go through the unruly, in their eyes phase for now and let it grow out.

I agree with kleMck, my H always aims to please, but I just don't have the desire. I want to want my H! Just to be clear, I don't want anyone else, I want nothing to do with sex in general :
I am seriously jealous of Lancy and all of you other horn dogs out there that desire to have sex with SO/H. I want a desirable sex life again. I am putting out, but I fake it to make it, and thats not fun.
OK, well DH is certainly always aiming to please. But... nope. I'm just going to go ahead and blame BFing for it.
This. I think it's easy to dish out sex advice but when BF'ing is totally killing your sex drive and making your hormones crazy, it's hard to get in the mood.
I hate my job. HATE it. I'm a daycare director/teacher. Since having cooper, having to take care of other people's children all day, just rubs me the wrong way. Thank The Lord I'm applying for a new job soon.

Re: FFFCs, anyone?
Yes, it's Friday! Thank GOD! Let's see what we can stir up today. Do I have anything to confess...sure, what the heck.
Ok, so the friend, that I've been lusting over, sent me a picture yesterday. Out of the blue, random, completely unexpected! Needless to say, I was quite shocked!!!
I don't mean funny haha but does anyone else think it's funny that someone actually conceived a plot to murder him AND castrate him??? As if he is not enough of a girl already . . . Sorry I think it's funny.
A nudey picture???
Lust over it...and then send that jank to his wife. Once a cheater, always a cheater!
It'll come, just keep at it!
Eta: omg, no pun intended!

Wow, him sending that to you while he is still married is completely inappropriate no matter what condition his relationship is in. I hope his intentions with you are good. Unless you are looking for bad intentions wink wink!!!

This reminds me. Last night DH smack my butt and said "you've been a bad girl" and we both busted out into laughter. We laughed for 15 minutes before we proceeded to DTD. We just can't get into role play. I don't know how some of you ladies do it. It's just so funny.
Oh hey, double post!
I feel like it's our responsibility as parents to make sure that our kids are clean and tidy as much as possible. This means cleaning them up after they eat/get messy, making sure they have on clean clothes, and keeping their hair out of their faces and not in a tangled mess.

The girls act like I'm waterboarding them when I try to do their hair.

My right leg beats everyone! That leg has been unshaven since October 15! I feel embarrassed every time they switch casts.
