We've never agreed on a girls name. We both like Allison, but we don't love it. I love "classic" names like Jane and Elizabeth, dh loves "girly" (as he calls them) names so any name that was popular in 1987.
my hubby and i are thinking Zoey for a girl... but we are picking 'Z' names.... so any good Z suggestions welcomed...
We've wound up with our favorites for boy/girl both being Z - Zoey and Zane.
OP - I do love Daphne. Though I did have a puppy named Daphne growing up. We asked my British father what the "posh" girls at school were named when he was growing up. He came up with Daphne and Celeste. So Daphne was a terribly posh name in England in the 50s/60s ;-)
We are really struggling to find a girl name right now.
We both love Ava, but not sure it goes well with our last name (I think it does, my DH doesn't think so - our last name starts with an A).
The other name we both like is Sloan but my FIL absolutely hates it and unfortunately that makes DH not want to use it - grrrrrrrrrrrrrr (what's even more frustrating is that my MIL and SIL both like it, it's just my FIL that hates it!)
OP - of the 2 names you posted, I think Cadence Hope is the prettier.
We have 3 girl names picked out (2 will be middle names), we just have to decide what order to put them in: Josephine Cora Henrietta
Our boy name is practically set in stone - we know exactly what his name is, and we're already referring to our baby by this name. Hopefully our instincts are right, or our baby will have an identity crisis if it's a girl...

My daughter's name is Kaydence and we love it !! That being said when she was born july 2011 they said what's her name we said Kaydence and they said funny we had two last week. So popularity wise it is gaining we have two in the neighborhood, dh and I being Jennifer and Michael wanted something unique but whatever....we spelled it Kaydence so we could shorten it to Kayde without to much confusion. Although I will also worn you typical conversations go like this "What's her name?" "Kaydence" "Caden?" "No, Kaydence" "Umm...well she's so cute" lol I feel like I'm always over pronouncing the c at the end because people constantly want to call her Caden or Candace.
Our top girl name is Matilda Irene. DD is Violet Eliana.
Married to my best friend 6/5/10
BFP #1 9/7/10, EDD 5/14/11, Violet born 5/27/11.
BFP #2 4/9/12, EDD 12/16/12, M/C Rory 4/24/12.
BFP #3 10/6/12, EDD 6/16/12., Matilda born 6/17/13.
Boys names seems to be the battle point for now but for girls we are thinking:
Brielynn Grace (Brie)
Brynliee Rae (Bryn)
Hadliee May (Hadie)
Addison June (Addie)
Top contender at this point is Brynliee Rae ;-)
I'm really confused by the -iee endings? I've seen -ie and -ee used to make the same sound, but is -iee even a sound?

I think our girl's name will be Elliana Claire. Not 100% sure, but DH hasn't said anything negative so that will probably be it. I also like Violet, Clara, Coralie, Amelia, Rosalie, and Brooke

I love the name Sloane. I thought Sloane Bianca would be a nice match between my two girls. Unfortunately DH is not on board! Silly DH and FIL throwing a wrench in our plans!!!
Taylor Elaine, Elaine was my grandmother's name and I have ALWAYS loved it. We had a really easy time with names. We have had two boy names and two girl names picked out since we first started dating 5 and a half years ago! If we ever have a second girl she will be Emma Ann.
Re: Girl names.
I like Payton. It's one of my daughter's names, but we spell it Peyton.
We haven't decided on a girl name but I really like Aubree Elizabeth. Just have to get hubby to go for it LOL

Edit for spelling, stupid autocorrect.

I thought this was a typo when I saw it. I'm holding out hope that it is...
