Short and Sweet visit on this board :-)
Well ladies, my time here has been short, but today I got a BFP!!! It was a little ironic because we sort of decided that we needed to start a different strategy next month and I wasn't even thinking that this would be the month. I have to say, the moment of the BFP wasn't as ceremonious as I expected. We both just stared it, I cried for a second, and then we said "now what??" It hasn't quite sunk in, but I'll take it!! This was our 3rd month TTC and I only used OPKs. Good luck to everyone!

12-24-2012 : Laparoscopy, Softball sized cyst/endo/scar tissue removed.
Cycle #14 - Feb 2013 : 50mg clomid. Ovidrel Trigger. IUI on 2/14/13 = thin lining, multiple cysts.
Cycle #16 actively trying (May/June): Femara, TI = BFN
Cycle #17- #20 - Med/Treatment break, trying on our own = BFN's all around.
Cycle #21 - Femara, MORE Femara, Ovidrel and a Christmas IUI = BFN

if you want us to know you had a different name previously you need to include that in your post or siggy. We're not mind readers. And if you had been around this board you'd know very well how a post like this would be received. I have no problem with people not being active here but don't post you BFP and expect people to ooh and ah over it. That's the equivalent of walking up to a group of strangers and expecting the same response you'd get from people who know you.

i am happy for her. A BFP is a great thing and I'm sure she is ecstatic. That doesn't mean a post like this belongs on this board. If you haven't participated here just go straight to 1st tri or your BMB. Everyone on those boards is in the same position as you and will be excited to read your news.

boggles my mind when people who have basically never posted announce their BFP on a TRYING to get pregnant board. what are you trying to do, shove it in our faces? this is way more appropriate on a board with people who are actually pregnant!

I love it when some random tells us all to grow up after calling everyone names first.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!

No one has a bitchy attitude. Its called etiquitte, if your a newb then you lurk , and if either of you had lurked then you would see that there are a lot of regulars on here, who support and give advice to eachother and are very smart and caring ladies. However, again.. if you had lurked you would also see that it is considered extremely rude to not be active on this board and then randomly post that you are pregnant.. what's the point ? why wouldn't you just go straight to your BMB or 1st tri ?? The only reason newbs do drive-by's here is to rub it in our faces that they are pregnant... that is the only reason.
Also, OP since you have " other things that you do in your life" why do you even bother posting your BFP here ??
