Mrskinnard or whatever your name is...I've been here a while...and even when I got what I imagine OP would call preggly, I didn't post it here. I went straight to my BMB and did it there.

Now that I've had a loss, it's extra salt in the wound when random people post "oh em gee! I'm preggly and I only had to sneeze!".

Well ladies, my time here has been short, but today I got a BFP!!! It was a little ironic because we sort of decided that we needed to start a different strategy next month and I wasn't even thinking that this would be the month. I have to say, the moment of the BFP wasn't as ceremonious as I expected. We both just stared it, I cried for a second, and then we said "now what??" It hasn't quite sunk in, but I'll take it!! This was our 3rd month TTC and I only used OPKs. Good luck to everyone!

look at previous BFP posts from people that are actually participating in this board. We are beyond happy for those girls....we think its pointless for people who don't post here to suddenly appear with a BFP post. You're welcome.  

You think it is so pointless to congratulate yet this post has about 80 replies thus far while the other two BFP posts have 99 and 108 replies. These posts get just as much if not more attention. It would seem to me that a lot of people actually like these posts, if not why is so much attention given to them? Maybe it is just me but if I felt someone was really trying to rub something in my face I would just ignore them. If someone posts a BFP, you open thread realize it is a drive-by move along. If they don't deserve a congratulations in your mind then just let it go. I would be willing to bet that if the OP got 2 congratulations and that was it rather than 78 negative comments they would get the point that no one cared, but instead people post and post and post and that only keeps this so called tactless person around longer to rub their BFP in your faces. I mean how many times can we throw around the" you get support when you give support" or "we dont know you why shoukd we be happy for you"? These people are on their way out anyway so just let them go. I know I know, there I go white knighting again (another phrase I hate) but if so many of you can share your opinion about a drive-by BFP then I can share my thoughts on it as well.
