  I would totally do it because I really like the name Roger. However, with our last name being Rogers, I don't think it would quite be appropriate.

  ETA: main point being, I like the name...not that you should do it for the money. That's not such a good idea, but definitely a perk to a good name!

  Hey, my FIL said he'd pay for grandkids' college if they go to his Alma Mater. I'm soooo taking him up on that one. {Yes, for the $$}. FIL's been grooming our son to love that team. It's pretty funny.

   

  Sorry, Jebrmbbeb. I got the better deal.

  haha! That's awesome! It's been a family joke for a long time because there's five kids and a handful of grand kids already. Who knows if he'd really do it, but no one would take it I'm sure. If we named a boy after him it'd be for sentiment. He's just a dork. He is always helping his grown kids out with money, like he'll buy a car from on of us if we are trying to sell it and can't, put huge bills in the easter egg hunt, etc. I love his sense of humor and giving attitude!

  oh I'm glad someone likes it! And yeah we would never do it for the money either. That's why it's so funny. He knows no one would do it for that.

  Do what you want!!  My father in law said I HAD to name my baby boy after him and my husband... so I am not.  Then he said once again I HAD to do the middle name I didn't so I am not.  It is your and your husbands baby.  Do what you want
