  I'm not sure which anatomy texts/sites you are looking up, but the uterus actually rests against the rectum/bladder/intestines...so I guess it's possible depending on which way your baby is oriented at the time and the position you are in to feel it at the "back" of your uterus.

  not sure, cant find it now, but it seemed to me in what I was looking at that the baby wasn't that far down, that the...umm.. I forget the name, but the like water sack was in that area.... but maybe it was just how it was drawn

  I have no idea what I was looking at, nvm 

  ETA: I think I was looking at an earlier anatomy picture that showed the amniotic sac being below the baby, kind of between the baby and the cervix

  ok, so I've been looking at anatomy, and it doesn't seem as if baby should be able to do this, but I keep feeling kicks that feel like they are hitting me in the like rectum area.... am I going crazy, or is that normal?
  

   I'm not quite 20 weeks, but I've been able to feel the baby sitting on what I'm assuming is my intestines/colon every now and then for a couple of weeks now.  Quite painful, especially when you have to poop and can't -- kinda feels like your intestines are gonna explode...

  Both of my girls always kicked me in the butt so yes it can happen... My first was breech the whole time and it happened often. This LO started doing it a few weeks ago, not a fan

  no, didn't get any opportunities as it turned out that trip home was very complicated
  

  I was very paranoid when I was trying to conceive, and the reason I asked had to do with the whole "no pregnant women on roller coasters" thing, I wasn't quite sure why pregnant women weren't supposed to go on them...  but i know better now

  I totally felt my baby kicking my butt once and it was a very strange sensation! Since then I have felt some pressure in my intestines but no more wild kicking. Also, my baby feels really really low most of the time. I think they're breech because most of the movement is waaaay super low and a get a few (punches maybe) around my belly button.

  My LO kicks me in the butt as well. Sometimes the sides, or the bladder as well. Most babies are breach in the second trimester, then move head down closer to delivery date.
