I am five weeks today with our first! I have definitely noticed the fatigue. By mid-afternoon, it starts creeping in, and by the time I get home from work, I do not want to do anything - except come on here!
I also have that "baby brain" forgetfulness and cannot seem to hold onto anything to save my life. I've been dropping everything! Also have the sore breasts (some times they are more sore than others). Bloated is my middle name. I know it is way too early for a bump, but I look like I have one already. This may also be due to the fact that I can't seem to get enough to eat.
The cramping is the weirdest thing to me. It's been going on since right before I even found out that I am pregnant. It's not as intense as menstrual cramps, and it comes and goes throughout the day, lasting for maybe a few seconds to a minute. It almost always happens as I am eating or right after, but not only then. I know they say this is normal, but it is kind of unnerving. No spotting though. How long does this go on for?
Have had some acne outbreaks as well. Oh well, wouldn't trade any of it for anything in the world! I am just trying to enjoy everything and not worry too much (easier said than done)! So far no nausea, fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone! I can't wait to see how everyone progresses!
Hello everyone! Congrats to all of you! I am five weeks today....found out one week ago and we couldn't be happier! I've been having some mild symptoms...sore breasts, mild cramping, peeing ALL the time, and some weird sensations in my stomach that I can't quite explain. Excited to be able to tell yall...it's so hard to keep this great news a secret!!!! Counting down the days to first Dr. appt which isn't until the end of July....
Hello, I am 5 1/2 weeks along and have had a little nausea, sore breasts, and very tired!! Haven't had much of an appetite either! Good Luck!
Hi everyone. This is my first post and first pregnancy. It feels great to be able to say that I am 5 weeks pregnant. Like all of you, I am constantly thinking and worrying about miscarriage. I just want to tell everyone already, especially since this baby will be the first grandchild for my parents. My symptoms have been fatigue, bloating and mild waves of nausea. I have had some cramping too, no spotting.
Looking forward to my doctors appointment this Thursday for confirmation! Until then, I will just keep hoping for the best. Has anyone else been testing frequently just to be sure they are still pregnant? My husband thinks I am crazy, but it makes me feel better to test every couple days. At least until my doc appointment

I'm starting my 5th week and I'm so excited and nervous at the same time! We had lots of IF help with this pregnancy so we aren't taking anything for granted! I started having symptoms on last Wednesday and just knew something was going on! I'm extremely exhausted, swollen boobs, morning sickness is all day and my lower back is killing me. I'm so happy about all these symptoms because we've waited 5 years for this!!! Good luck to everyone

I'm 5 weeks today!! It is also my first pregnancy! I've had some cramping, very frequent washroom visits and fatigue. Other then that, not much happening!!

I am also 5 weeks and worried sick. We lost a baby in 2009 and were told i couldn't have anymore kids without help so we stopped trying then 3 months later find out we're pregnant. But my OB hasn't been helpful just worries me more. did first ultrasound 10/12/12 and only saw a sack i was like 2 weeks then, so now i have to return for another on Nov 8th. I"m super excited for that.
I've only vomitted 2x's and have sore breast and food aversions, and gained 4 lbs. oh and headaches but the headaches have seemed to slow down. Lots of bloating i was super tired about 2 weeks ago but been taking meds to sleep alnight so i haven't been tired during the day anymore.

I am a total newbie! I just found out this morning that we are expecting
My husband and I have been trying since Dec, but it was still a big surprise! I think today might technically be the start of my 6th week...it's still all very confusing! I don't have any symptoms as of yet, but I am dying to tell everyone, so here is where I need a little advise....
My first appointment is 11/26/12, but I will be 8 weeks on Thanksgiving and we thought that would a perfect time to announce to our family! Is it too early to announce before my first appointment?
I am 5 weeks and days today. My symptoms have been HUNGER! Zap of energy/tired and thirsty thirsty. With some cramping throughout the day. However I have not had the sore breasts yet and prayfully will not get nauseous.
The plan for us was to wait until Thanksgiving as well after our 1st doctor appointment. But we actually ended up telling my husband's family a little after 4 weeks ONLY because we were at a family gathering for his mom's bday and there was a 2 month old baby I ended up holding and feeding so hubby was about to burst and I gave him the green light LOL. So we announced way earlier than I would have liked and would have preferred until week 13 after the 1st trimester. But our FAITH is in GOD and that our embryo is securely planted alive growing and will reach full term to a happy baby birthed in July 2013!! We are overjoyed and decided not to hide it but celebrate it!
