Re: Why does sleeping in the crib

  • I think it is because the crib is so cold. At least in our situation, that is why. I tuck a blanket around the mattress and he will sleep fine. Though, we do bed share too. It depends on the night.

  • My Lo will sleep through the night in his crib, but on his tummy.  Honestly, I think it's that usually it's the only place they sleep flat on their back and that is why.
  • i think 6 hour stretch is great

  • Lo is up every hour unless he's in my bed. Then he gives 6 hour stretches.

I think 6 hours at 2 months old is awesome! Especially since he's ebf.

  • Woah. Wait a minute here, your EBF baby gives you 6-10 hour stretches?? Mine has given my 3 hours and 45 minutes tops- no matter where he is :(

    You are a lucky mama!

  • I'd consider 6 hrs as STTN. consider yourself lucky. It could be worse.
  • 5 hours is considered sttn for babies so he IS sttn.. just not as long as you'd like lol. Consider yourself lucky. At 8 weeks, my LO is only sleeping 3 to 4 hours at a time

  • From everything I've been told sleeping for a 6 hour stretch is considered sleeping through the night. But if there is a big difference for you, maybe check the temperature?
