I know this has been asked before, but I can't find anything and am too lazy to keep looking. K has all of a sudden started waking up as soon as we lay her down in her crib or PnP. she's asleep soundly in our arms, we wait a solid 10-15 minutes before putting her down, but once her head hits a flat surface, it's eyes wide open. this has only been happening for the past three or four days. I am guessing she;s just becoming more aware, but I don't know what to do. Suggestions?
Re: transition to laying down
So you lay the heating pad down for a bit while you are rocking or whatever, then take it out when you put LO down? Just making sure I understand because I am way tired right now!
Yep I put heating pad on the surface while I nurse/rock etc but remove it when I lay lo down.
All of this!

I'm finding if I lay LO down right before he's about to fall asleep, he'll fall asleep in the RNP or Swing and stay asleep.
I've also considered putting a heating pad in the RNP/swing before I lay him in it to warm it, and then take it out right before I put him in to make it feel more snuggly. I haven't done that yet, but I have that idea in the back of my mind.
We also swaddle him most of the time before he sleeps, and I think it helps him that the blanket will smell like me or H.

Ha, I obviously didn't read the responses first. I thought I was a super-genius for thinking of this.
