Re: is it bad that we wake DD before WE go to bed?
ditto this
Just let her wear a pull up at night until she's waking up dry all the time.
agreed. uninterrupted sleep is more important.
DD1 is just starting to wake up dry occasionally. She's such a hard sleeper that I don't think we could even wake her up to go to the bathroom if we wanted to.

I agree with all of this.
I totally disagree with this. Putting her in a pull up tells her it's ok to pee in her pants. This is not helping her potty train, it's sending a mixed message. What you are doing tells her it's ok to wake up to go potty, which is what adults do. If you want to wean her off this practice, then slowly back up the time you wake her later and later. Yes, it probably means you will have to set an alarm to get up for a while. But IMO its far better to do this temporarily and help her get back to dry nights than to put her back in a diaper, which is essentially what a pull up is.
I completely disagree. Putting her in a pull up means she won't have to wake up with a wet bed in the middle of the night or in the morning. It means you're allowing her bladder to mature until she's physiologically capable of staying dry.
I agree with this 100%.

The same thing happened to us. DD1 went for months without any overnight accidents, then all of a sudden I found myself changing her bed sheets almost every morning. We started taking her to the bathroom before heading to bed (at around 11). After one whole week without any accidents, we dropped the night time bathroom trip and she was fine again. No idea what happened, so I'm going to blame it on a growth spurt.
