Zantac?

I took my LO to the ped today because he has been real fussy. He is thinking that it is either Colic or Reflux. He gave me a script for Zantac and we are going to see if that helps. Occasionally, our LO will gag on something in his throat. He is just overall fussy though, cries and nothing soothes him...unless I nurse him.

Has anyone used Zantac for babies? Did it help?

We have the same problem and I'm thinking reflux too. I'm going to talk to our pedi about it on Friday at our next appt. I had asked about it at our previous appts and been told that he couldn't have reflux if he wasn't spitting up, well now he spits up, and I just know something is wrong, he screams all day long and the only time he isn't screaming is when he's nursing. And he won't sleep on anything flat. I'd be curious to know if Zantac has worked in cases like this.

DS has been on Zantac for almost 2 weeks and it has made such a difference!! He has spit up maybe 4 times and is way less fussy during and after meals. Hope it works for your LO!
