woke up shivering?

for the last few months, ive been literally sweating buckets when i sleep. so gross. ive been sleeping in a tank top and boy shorts and no covers, hair in a ponytail. last night, i was sleeping in the guest room (dh was snoring like it was his job) and i woke up to some serious shivering - almost to the point where my teeth were chattering. got out of bed, went in our bed and covered up. shivered for like 5 minutes before falling back asleep. the air was on at our house, but set at 75, so not too cold. i wonder if that was preg related? so strange...

  • Sounds like you were just cold.

Haha. OP, just wait until the postpartum temperature regulation, or lack thereof...

    Yes

Same thing happened to me this morning...because the high outside went from like, 89 to 78 and the night temp was drastically cooler than it has been.

ETA: Lulz at "literally" sweating buckets.

  • If you are not having contractions I wouldn't think anything of it. I actually shivered alot during labor, teeth chattering and all, which the nurse told me is very common. However, this was after being in labor for a long time.
