Hi ladies,
Its almost that time for me to start finding some maternity clothes for work. I've looked at Target, Macy's and Gap and so far everything is huge one me in length. I'm 5'2", I was a size 24 waist prepregnacy and now my "fat jeans" don't even fit me. My belly is pretty big but the rest of me s still semi small (minus my DD boobs).
Im trailing, point being, any other petite women out there have luck with maternity clothes? If so, where?
THANK YOU!!!
Re: Maternity clothes for petite women?
I'm the same height and had the same issue. I was able to find some decent petite maternity jeans and work pants at Khols. Their maternity section is usually near the pajamas in a small section, but I was happy they actually had some things there I could try on. They didn't have many small options-I had to do some searching through the rack...but I think you can order clothes off their website too which offers more sizes.

Honestly, I think you should just get stuff hemmed, or learn to hem yourself. I'm 5'1" and almost always have to hem my pants.
I have had luck with Gap Maternity's ankle length, though. Sometimes the length is right, and other times I can turn the leg up at the bottom seam, iron that crease, and evenly hem at that point.
Destination Maternity's pants are all too long for me. (They carry Motherhood.) Hemming is pretty cheap if you get it done at the cleaner's, and the turnaround time is often less than 3 days. I think the last time I paid to get pants hemmed it was about $12, and I live in a very high cost of living area.
Spending $150 on a sewing machine a few years back has really empowered me. I feel like I can buy any pants that fit right up top now, with no worry.
Good luck!

Did you check Gap maternity online? The have short, reg, and tall lengths. I'm tall, but when I order on the Gap website they have the short lengths avail. I would order one size down, their sizes are more generous than their non mat sizes. And the pants stretch out a lot (all mat jeans do IME).

I am 4'9" and I had good luck with Motherhood Maternity. They are on sale right now and I just ordered 2 pairs. I am also heading to Kohls this afternoon hoping that they have something. My favorite pair of maternity pants from last pregnancy have a huge hole in the crotch so those are in the trash (boo!). I had good luck with Old Navy too. I didn't have a problem with the shirts not fitting though.
