For those with dogs and no yards - do you bring the baby in the stroller or the carrier when you go walk the dog? We had a dog when LO was born, but I was so overwhelmed with a newborn that our super's kid walked him whenever I was home alone with the baby. That dog passed away from cancer a month after LO was born, and we just got a new dog. I walked her yesterday with the stroller, but it was kind of clumsy pushing the stroller (we have a City Select, so it's like an SUV) and walking her. Does anyone find it easier to use a carrier?

Re: Walking dog with baby
I've been walking my Lab with DD for four and a half months. When she was really little, the stroller was too hard, so I wore her in the ring sling. It just made squatting to pick up poop a little difficult. If we go for a quick walk, I pop her in the sling or the Ergo.
Now, we go for a mile-long walk every night when I get home from work. We use the stroller now--it took the dog a little getting used to, but she's okay with it now. She wears a regular leash and has learned "Leave It".

This post inspired me to go for a walk with DD in the k'tan and BOTH dogs.
It went well except for a couple logistical problems when bagging their poo. I did not factor that in.
