Cloth Diapering

starting CD for older, chunkier baby?

I'm interested in getting into CD with my almost 11 m old, but I am not sure which brands and types would be best for a larger baby because I'd like to get a size that will last all the way through toilet training.  I was reading comments about BG 4.0 running kind of small and low and that made me wonder if  you all could offer some other recommendation.  DD is relatively average height and weight, but with chunky thighs.  I was thinking of AIO or pocket CDs. TIA

  • Tweedle Bugs are good for bigger babies. My almost 10 month old is still on the smallest waist setting, so it'll last a long time. They're a lesser known brand but I've been happy with them.

You could also try going with some sized diapers. FuzziBunz and Swaddlebees Simplex 2.0 could be good for you. GL!

  • I have a big 2 year old (31+lbs, 37"), and my kawaii pockets and BG4.0s still fit just fine on the largest rise setting. The kawaiis are a great value, so I would try a few of those. I also have a few fuzzibunz large, and they fit great with a lot of room to grow. GL!
