Working? Doing what? Yes, I work for a software company that does information systems for hospitals. I work in the product development division as a product manager - my team manages designing the software. I specifically deal with security and auditing (bleh)
Biggest Pregnancy Joy? So far just being pregnant - but seeing that heart beat was amazing.
Biggest Pregnancy Fear? Tied between loosing the baby and there being something wrong with the baby.
A fun fact or short story to help us remember you! I have been to all 50 states - 46 of those states while traveling with my company with the majority of them being in a 3-4 year period.

I am carrying this little miracle for my friend and her DH as their Gestational Surrogate. The babe is biologically theirs and I can't wait for them to be able to hold him/her for the first time and experience being parents.
THAT IS Awesome!! I am a huge Star Wars Fan too...our ring bearer in our wedding was a life size, fully-robotic R2D2 that a friend of mine built.
We should hang out: Hubby and I LOVE going to Napa, too, and I'm so bummed that I can't drink that V. Sattui Dry Reisling any more! (Good trade, though: I'll take the baby any day!) Parents have planned a trip there with us in October, as they don't know I'm pregnant yet. Guess I have to announce it before then.....

Fun short story? I used to blog with DD#1 PG about my gestational diabetes, called "Diary of a VooDoo Doll." If I get the stupid GD again, I'll probably restart it. It actually is a useful resource for those dealing with it.

A fun fact or short story to help us remember you! ~ Me and Dh's first date was a 50 mile bicycle ride to a micro-brewery out of town. For our wedding, our get-away-vehicle was a tandem bicycle. I thought it was a cute idea.

I just wanted to say that this happened to me with my chemical pregnancy! I had a dream one night that the second pink line appeared and lo and behold, it really did in real life! Then another night not much later, I had a dream that there was no second pink line, and lo and behold, there really was no second line in real life!
Crazy what our bodies know!
Also, I am law student and find it inspiring that you are a pregnant lawyer! I feel alone as a pregnant law student -- I feel like most people are sacrificing family for careers whereas I want to have both!

Planned/Unplanned? kinda planned, we were doing clomid for two months and then were told to take a break fromtrying because I developed large cysts, from overstimulation, so we said we would wait to try until Winter, stopped trying in June and got KU in July. It's ironic how we both relaxed and it just happened just like all of our friends and family had been telling us.
Working? Doing what? Not working, DH and I decided that I stress too much at work so I am a Full-time student and working on being a very relaxed person until LO arrives and even then I want to stay home for a little bit. But both of our parents are at home all the time so we will have plenty of support when LO arrives.
Biggest Pregnancy Joy? Doing it on our own with no medical intervention, i don't feel defective like I was feeling the past 8 months we just needed time, I know that is not true for everyone, but I'm grateful that it was for us.
I am excited about buying stuff for LO, of course not for a few months (weeks).
Biggest Pregnancy Fear? Labor is a huge fear of mine, I just don't know if I will be able to do it. But then I look at the world around me and realize that everyone else is and I should be fine.
No cute short stories, but I did go to Babys r us yesterday with DH to pick up Preggie Pops and Pregnancy Pillow and it felt so great to make my first pregnancy purchase, the cashier was all like oh are you uncomforatble at night, this is really going to help you. I have NEVER bought anything baby/pregnancy related for MYSELF and it felt great.

This I've never heard, but PP was correct that only fraternal twins can run in a family and only along the maternal side. Identical twins are random and can happen to anyone.

Fun fact: I took a two week vacation from work. That is the longest that I have ever taken off. Everyone was asking what I could be doing and where I was going (I only took 3 days when I got married). I was vague and said that I was just doing things around the house. I am sure that they will start to do the math and realize that I got pregnant on my "staycation".
Oh poo, and here I was getting myself all psyched up! My husband's aunt on his mother's side had twins, and his grandmother on his father's side is a twin...
