Biggest Pregnancy Joy? - So far it's the fact that I was able to get pregnant so fast after m/c. Cannot wait until I see the heartbeat.
Biggest Pregnancy Fear? - Another miscarriage.
A fun fact or short story to help us remember you! I am terrified of throwing up. So it's going to be a really fun next few weeks as I'm already having some pretty bad nausea. And when I say terrified, I mean the most irrational fear ever. I try everything possible not to throw up. And if I do I cry, shake like crazy, and pretty much thing the world is ending. I insist that someone is there to help me. A few years ago I had the flu, and woke up around 3 AM. As I was in the bathroom dry heaving, I was tying to wake my husband up by pounding on the wall with the plunger. Ha ha he though someone broke into the house!

Hey everyone, there seem to be a lot of March Mommies, and even with the signatures, I'm struggling to recognize individuals. How about a handy-dandy questionnaire that puts all our intros in one thread and helps us remember you? Fabulous idea!!!

Planned/Unplanned? Planned, we started TTC in May but learned quickly our timing was off. Got PG our 1st cycle of timing BD...so we were a little surprised we were successful so soon.
Twins or More? Just one
Working? Doing what? I go back to work for the year next week. I'm a practicing allied health professional (specifically athletic trainer) and professor at a private college.
Biggest Pregnancy Joy? Just that we're having one. Before DH I never wanted kids, and now I can't wait.
Biggest Pregnancy Fear? two things, first not making it to full term, and falling into some of my mother's parenting habits

Planned/Unplanned? UNPLANNED! I was on BC....I switched the time of day I take my BC, did not go about switching the appropriate way apparently, according to my Dr- "That'll do it!"...we want kids but we wanted to wait until we were married for one year....as previously said, god had other plans!
Twins or More? Most likely one little bean...twins don't run in our family.
Working? Doing what? Family therapist...plan is to *hopefully* save 4 months of mortgage payments so I can quit my job ( i hate it and it's not a family friendly job) and then find a new one. We'll see!

UPDATED: I'm a Jersey girl - born and raised! I'm a Doctor Who fanatic and am just finally watching Lost for the first time (and I'm SO glad I don't have to wait a week between episodes!!!) Much of my father's family is born in March. My father and 2 of his brothers, my sister, 2 cousins and my stepmother. March is a super popular month and I thought I wanted to avoid it, but now I'm super excited!!

From the way I understand it, and correct me if I'm wrong, it runs on the maternal side. So if your mom had faternal twins run in the family, then you could possibly have the gene to ovulate twice in one month. If they are each fertilized, then (Voila!) you have faternal twins! Identical twins are not passed down. They are a luck of the draw.

06/17/11-10 days of Clomid (100, 150) No response.
07/10/11-03/20/12- 5 Injectable (Follistim) IUI cycles; 4 BFN, 1 C/P. (stims ranged from 11 days to 25 days)
05/28/12-Diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. 75 mcg Synthroid.
IVF with ICSI in June/July 2013 = BFP!. Beta # 1 = 123. Beta # 2 = 252. Due March 25th. Baby boy arrived March 27, 2013!

Biggest Pregnancy Joy? I love feeling them move. Since it's too early, and I'm weird, I delight in the braxton hicks contractions because it's a reminder that my uterus is doing its thing and getting toned up.
Biggest Pregnancy Fear? Anything that would land us in the hospital. I love my homebirths, so any complication that would make it impossible for that to happen is my fear.
A fun fact or short story to help us remember you! I went to college a year after high school (had scholarships to schools in the state I graduated in, but I was only 17 and my mother wouldn't let me stay when they moved out of state right after graduation). I changed my major 3 or 4 times over the course of 1 1/2 semesters before doing the math and realizing that I'd be in school for 4 years, then I'd want my two babies two years apart, so I'd be at home for 7ish years for that, and realized that I wouldn't use my degree for at least 11 years. Seemed pretty dumb to me to stay in college when I didn't even know if I'd even want to use my degree 11 years later or if I'd have another interest. Got pregnant 2 1/2mo after I dropped out and quit my job 2mo before my baby was born. Best decision for our family.

Working? Doing what? Yes, I am a nanny Monday-Friday and care-aid overnight Friday and Saturday.

DH and I met as volunteers for an organization called Young Life and he just recently started on staff. Our teens (the kids we work with) are so excited for the baby, we had to tell them as I was at camp with them last week and the morning sickness kind of gave it away.
