1. Zeke
2. Maverick (Mav for short)
3. Blaze

Honestly none of them are my style. Zeke is quite harsh sounding. Maverick and Blaze make me think of super heros.
ETA: Even though I know a Blaize who is an incredibly intelligent and respected doctor I would have a hard time taking any of these names seriously in a professional setting.
1. Zeke- I agree with pp, I would like it better if it were a nn for Ezekiel
2. Maverick- I just don't like it, but at least it's a full name.
3. Blaze- sounds like a tag name or a serious stoner. I would expect to see it plastered on a brick wall.

Zeke is the only one that doesn't remind me of a dog sorry! Blaze was my ex-bfs dog's name and I agree with the "not wanting my daughter to date" sentiment.
none are my style.....please make sure you before you name your child you think about what it will look like on the top of a resume. To each his own , just something to think about when in a huge stack of people to interview
Unfortunately I don't like any of those options. Zeke sounds like an old hillbilly. Maverick sounds like a character from a western movie. and Blaze sounds like a drug dealer/stoner's nickname. Of the 3 I think the lesser of evils is Maverick.
OP, your son is only going to be your little boy but for so long. His name has to also work for an adult. Will he be embarrassed to put any of these names at the top of a professional resume??

As PPs said, Zeke is really a nn for Ezekiel. Maverick reminds me of Top Gun and the only Blaze I know is a dog. I do know a Blaise, which is a biblical name.
Oh Dear, those all bring to mind images I wouldn't want associated with my baby
1. Zeke - I went to Michigan State, and our mascot dog was named "Zeke the wonder dog". He would run around during football games and play frisbee with Sparty!
2. Maverick (Mav for short) - Reminds me of the Dallas Mavericks, or worse, Tom Cruise. Blech.
3. Blaze - The #1 stoner nickname of every guy that got high in high school and didn't graduate. I can barely picture saying this name out loud without craving cheetos and Taco Bell!
I like Blaise but with the different spelling. Like St. Blaise. It's actually a very old traditional name. The spelling with the z makes it look too hard.

If "Zeke" were short for Ezekiel, I might like it a little better.
I think Blaze sounds like someone I don't want my daughter to date.
Maverick is my favorite.

This.
NO FAIR. I HAVE DIBS ON EZEKIEL (Zeke for short).
Nah, I'm kidding... but I can't vote since I have a biased opinion
I would have to go with Blaze.
They're all a little too contemporary for my liking, but I like Blaze best.

I agree with this considering my dogs name is Zeke. IMO i don't like any of them as a boys name.
this!
Maverick because of the old TV show starring James Garner.
Blaze makes me think of American Gladiators haha.

I don't love any of them to be honest. Just NMS, they seem like they're names that are trying too hard to be different.
But out of the probably Zeke.
My parents had dogs with all 3 of these names when I was growing up

Of the 3...I like Zeke
I live in Texas and Mavericks are a professional basketball team. I wouldn't have thought of the movie Top Gun.
I'm also a country girl, and a Blaze is the word used to describe the white marks on a horses face
While a person makes the name...first impressions are often based off of a name, like somebody else already mentioned...
I love Zeke. My BIL is named Zeke.
Blaze is a ridiculous name in my opinion.
This.
