Super faint BFP?

I got my first super faint, like almost invisible, BFP on Saturday with a cheapie dollar store test using FMU and then I tested later that same day with a 5 day before expected period EPT and got another faint BFP (I should've bought a digital!). I just tested again using the EPT and got another faint BFP. I can't help but think i'm just imagining it!

Based on my LMP i'm 4w3d PG. My period is 5 days late, I don't temp but I use an app that calculates everything out for me so I know I could've ovulated late and I might not be as far along as I think which is why the BFP is so faint.

Anyone else get a super faint BFP? How long until you got a dark line?

With my son I didn't test until I was 2 weeks late and the line appeared almost immediately and was super dark! I think that's why I am questioning if I am PG or not!

With my first I never got a dark line (and he's sleeping in my arms right now).

The darkness of the line doesn't indicate a successful pregnancy and a line is a line so I say welcome :-)

without temping, you're O date could be off. I got a very very faint line on 13DPO, and a digital said preg the next day

I'd wait and test in a day or so, and get a digital!

I had a faint line that I had to really squint to see at 8DPO. I got a positive on a digital the next day (the line on the regular hpt was darker but still pretty faint).

I actually got 2 BFN and figured I wasn't pregnant. Finally got a BFP with a faintish line followed by a BFP from a digital. As my friend told me last night when I was convinced I still wasn't really pregnant - a faint BFP is still a BFP.

My first test (FRER) was incredibly faint, but I could make out a second line in certain light and at certain angles. I confirmed with a digital the next morning. I wasn't charting, but was around 12dpo for the first test.

Imo, digis are a waste of money. A line is a line - congrats! My first bfps with all my pregnancies were really faint. They got darker over the next few days and then I stopped testing but had blood work with good betas (for this pregnancy).

I agree that you most likely o'd later and you're still super early so that's why it is faint. Congrats!

With my DS I actually threw the test away because I didn't think there was a line. Something in me thought I needed to fish it out of the trash and I saw the faintest line. I seriously thought it might be a trick of the light. But it wasn't. A line is a line no matter how faint. Congrats.

My first 3 tests were very faint and a neg on a digital. I waited 5 days and the faint line was much darker, then took another digital that came back positive. That was 9 days ago, tonight DH wanted me to take one just to see how dark the line was, I literally watched the pee cross the window and a dark pink (almost red) line appeared immediately and the control line was the faint one. Congrats! A line at all, even a faint one is a positive and if you wait a few days ( I know torture) it will be darker as the hormones increase.

Lol, I agree! I just liked being able to see when my period would come.. although for the last two months I was 2 days "late". So far I'm 5 days late so I'm pretty convinced im knocked up, which is a good thing becuase we just started trying!
