Where do you get them for a decent price? I just paid $20 for a tank from Target, but I only got one, because I think those are kinda pricey?
Second question, do you think they're worth it? Getting the specially made ones to nurse or will normal bras/tanks make due?
Re: Nursing bras/tanks...2 questions.
Nursing bras/tanks make it much easier to nurse. Even if you can get by with a tank and no bra now, post-baby you will likely be leaking and bigger.
I don't know about a better price, though. Mine are ridiculously expensive.
Nursing tanks are much easier than a nursing bra+ top.
I own about 10 nursing tanks. They are my pjs, and when I was nursing a lot, I wore them instead of a nursing bra in most cases (put a normal shirt over them; they make it super easy to NIP discreetly without needing a cover.
So, yes, they can be a bit pricey, but I wore on 95% of the time for the last year.

ITA! My uniform for the first few months was a nursing tank and cardigan.
Walmart has them for about $15 https://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10843537&adid=bzv_fb_revshr_001.
I want to get a few more of them and also get some Lily Padz to insert into them for leaking and to not be nipping out all of the time.
I have several from Target & like them. I could definitely not get by with regular bras. I did use a sports bra from time to time. Regular tanks would get too stretched out & regular bras would not stretch enough & cut off my circulation.
Buy one or two here & there so it's not such a big hit to your wallet.
