Or am I spring cleaning?

I bleached the bathroom this weekend. Never did that before. I keep it clean and do an extra good cleaning every weekend but I took a bucket of bleach to it on Saturday.

I cleaned out one of the junk drawers. You guys, there were 3 year old take out soy sauce packets in there.

This isn't "normal" housework for me. Am I nesting already? ARE YOU???

I wish I could! We have my BIL staying with us for another month or so and since we only have two bedrooms I can't do anything with the room until he's gone. It's sort of making me crazy but sort of not.

I deep clean about every week because I'm OCD about cleaning, but I'm going to start organizing the baby's room this week and washing some of her clothes.

I keep our house relatively clean...however I have been doing a lot of "planning" to get things done within the next 2 months and I am looking into a cleaning service to begin coming to our house every 2 weeks for deep cleanings on things I quite frankly dont want to do on my own...especially once little one arrives!

I am trying to hold off any major cleaning till my daughter is with her bio for 10 days. That's when I can rearrange her room to set up the crib and new dresser for her and possibly a nice vanity as well. I also plan on rearranging organizing the play room...other than that I have already washed all the unisex clothes from my daughter.

While I have started some unusual cleaning and organizing, I wouldn't call it nesting quite yet.

Nope.

I've had my days when I've gone nesting crazy- like scrubbing the kitchen floor on my hands and knees because the mop wasn't cutting it. Or spontaneously taking everything out of the hallway cabinets so I could reorganize and purge stuff (that was quite a job).

But we're 75% done with a big DIY kitchen remodel and it's hard to keep things super clean right now. The remodel is supposed to be done in 2 weeks and I already bought groupons for carpet cleaning and window cleaning to use at that point. And my parents already told me one of my birthday presents is they're having their housekeeper do an all-day deep clean on our house.

This would be like a dream come true for me! I actually like cleaning and do it often, but it's getting harder and harder to really deep clean. And I hate doing the things like dusting the blinds and cleaning the baseboards. If I can swing it, I'd like to have someone come deep clean right before we have the baby, but I don't think we could afford to have someone come on a regular basis.

I have days where I get the urge to do random cleaning jobs, but I was like that pre-preg too. I'm sure the nesting will kick in soon.

I didn't vote because I didn't think any of the options really fit me.

I've been concentrating on cleaning more, but it's more because I'm telling myself I have to, not because I have an "urge". DH & I are kind of clutter-bugs, so we're trying to clear out the clutter so our house will be ready for guests at a moment's notice. If I do go into labor early, the last thing I want to worry about is being embarrassed by clutter in my house when people (parents & in-laws) are going to be wanting to visit or help out.

I have been doing major spring cleaning! I'm not sure if I would call it nesting because I just like to get rid of junk and organize. I did however spend the weekend going through all our boxes of baby stuff to take inventory of what I have and what I need. Also i'm having a garage sale in 2 weeks so I am trying to get through everything to either sell or organize (I only have our storage room left!).

I've been rearranging things in our spare room like crazy. We have been using it as an office for the past year and it's being taken over by baby stuff! I'm trying to keep it under control, especially with a baby shower coming up in a few weeks.

I WANT to clean, but I am off my feet already, so I am just giving orders. I keep thinking of things to get done and I am not sure if it's because I have nothing better to do or if it is because I am nesting.

The day before my water broke with DS, I was a crazy, nesting lady. I was literally on my hands and knees washing our baseboards at 38 weeks pregnant. The burst of energy was crazy....

I feel like I've been nesting for a while. We've gotten rid of and organized SO much stuff in the past month. I also washed all the baby clothes already...but that's mostly because my mom was storing them for me and they smelled like mothballs hardcore.

If I wasn't so damn tired I would be cleaning like crazy. I have to take a ton of breaks though so that makes things take a long time.

We just moved into a new house 2 weeks ago. It's hard to tell if it's pregnancy induced nesting or new house nesting. Either way, I'm "nesting" as much a my tired-pregnant self can handle.
