I had my first baby almost 10 months ago. After 24 hours of hard labor, I ended up with a CS for failure to progress and dips in his heartrate. I haven't had my first appointment yet to discuss a VBAC, but it is definitely what I want to go for. I am hoping that they don't give me a hard time with only 17 months in between births. Anyone else planning a VBAC?

Re: s/o C-sections, any VBAC plans?
Exactly the same story here.
I'm planning for a VBAC. I went with a new provider this time and hope to labor with as few interventions as possible. It's so hard to really know what to anticipate during labor, but I just want to try my hardest to give myself the best chance for a VBAC. It's especially important to me because last time I wasn't able to produce milk and I've read that I have a better chance of producing milk with a VBAC. We'll see!

I had a VBAC with DD! It was amazing. DS never progressed past 4 cm and never dropped. I was 10 days late with him. DD was 6 days late and I was given a small amount of pitocin to try to get things going a bit more. I was about 3 cm when I was went in on her birthday.
They are about 22m apart. If you can find an OB or MW that will allow you to at least do a trial of labor (41w) then do it. It was truly an amazing experience!!!
Good Luck!

***All always welcome!!***
I'm hoping for a VBAC this time. With DS, I had a LOT of stress in the weeks leading up to his birth and my blood pressure went up. He was estimated to be 9 pounds a week early and that combined with my bp made my dr. decide it was c/s time. In hindsight I think he just preferred that method.
I'm using a different provider this time, and when I got my IUD out I made sure he and I were on the same page about the VBAC. He's supportive of it "as long as everything is healthy."
Good luck to you!

Hoping for a VBAC here too, but unsure of what the doc will say as well. I would like to try for it. I had 22 hours of hard labor with DD. She was posterior and was not progressing through my hips although she was close. Hoping it works out this time.
