What boob pads do you use?

Just wondering what boob pads everyone uses. I bought some nuk pads and they suck. I'm always leaking through!

Re: What boob pads do you use?

  • I've only used the Avent pads so far, and I really like them.  They don't show through my tank tops, and they just get solid feeling when they're full.  I haven't had them leak yet, and my Milk Saver shows that I can leak up to 2+oz at a feeding.  I change them 2-3 times per day.

  • I got Nuk and Johnson's for around the house. I got Lansinoh for going out. None of them are great IMO. I only leak when nursing now though.

I use Lanisoh. Medela's were okay but I like the Lanisoh ones better.

  • When I was still able to nurse I used the evenflo simply absorbent nursing pads. I really liked them. They carry them at walgreens or you can find the online.

  • I use Nuk 'cause they are the cheapest. However, I do have a little trick for not going through so many pads. When I am nursing I shove in a reusable pad to catch my letdown of the opposite breast that is not being nursed on.

  • I'm using Johnson's right now but they have this weird little nipple indention that's supposed to be nicer to your nips but just makes you look 'perky' all the time. I have Lansinoh too but I feel like they make me sweat more so I only wear them at night. My reusables still aren't enough.  I really just want to stop freaking leaking.

  • Lansinoh. Just because they keep the moisture away. I don't have a good enough bra to make them stick and stay stuck in the right place, but they work for the leaks. I'm on my 2nd box, use one pair a day.

I like the Lasinoh ones. They are pretty big, and I've never leaked through them (although my nip has drifted off of them before). I HATE the Ameda ones. They are tiny!
  • I've tried Lansinoh, Evenflo Simply Absorbent, Curad (ugh at the hospital) and Tommee Tippee.  I liked the TT ones the best unfortunately.  This post makes me realize I should make a stop by Target today to get a few boxes because they were on sale for $6.99 for 50 pairs.

I have some reusable ones I got from Buy Buy Baby and I don't like them, even though I wanted to. I stuffed a sock in my bra one night out of pure frustration and that worked better than the reusable ones.
