The chick that commented on the working nesties was JennHawk. I have beef with her comment. Thats all Im gonna say about it.
I hate dogs. Im not uptight. I just dont like them. No different than if someone didnt like snakes or rats--they are pets also and people dont usually say snake-haters are uptight.

I never understand people who dont tell the truth. This applies to ppl IRL, not here, so no names needed. You cant change the truth, but the truth can change you. Amen.
I plan on eating so much food tommorrow that I gain 100 lbs. I have worked damn hard to lose the 8 lbs that I have over the last 4 wks, but I really dont care. Friday is a new day, and the diet will resume then.
Flame free/flameable....who cares. Dont confess anything you dont want to be flamed for or cant defend. No one FORCES you to confess anything.

I am going to have a second cup of coffee today. I didn't bring my lunch to work today because I was running late...so I am thinking of going for subway....or maybe even McDonalds (we'll see how the day goes!)
I don't want to spend the night at IL's on Friday. I don't mind going up to visit but don't want to stay the night.
Honestly, I dont think that some of the babies are THAT cute. They arent ugly, but maybe not worthy of "cutest baby." Not to mention that it seems alittle strange to me to have a bunch of strangers voting just to tell the mother that they think that her baby is cute. I know my baby is cute, I dont need a contest to tell me that. Its like a baby popularity contest.
I don't understand why people come on a message board and post all of their personal business on it? I don't give a flying flip if you are/aren't having sex or if you did/didn't have a fight with your husband or if said husband blew his load in his sleep! Dial it back people, seriously.
I have to agree with this one. I will never understand posting all your dirty laundry on the internet. I guess it makes some people feel better, but I do think there is such a thing as too much info.
Although, I do answer the sex polls. The ones that are generic enough (how many times, etc.), that is. Maybe that's being a hypocrite. However, I feel like we're all adults and most of us are having sex. But I'm not going to get into nitty gritty details about the deed itself. Nobody needs/wants to hear that...and it's just NMS.

- I sometimes hate dogs, and I have two. One of my dogs eats her own poopsicles when the weather is cold.
Since last Friday this is my menu
Fri lunch-Jerry's foot long sub, fries - ate the whole thing, dinner - Pizza
Sat left over pizza and Ruby Tuesdays shrimp & pasta dish (although I also got the salad bar)
Sun Ledo's pizza and wings
Mon lunch Chinese carry out, dinner leftover Ledo's
Tues lunch Chinese carry out, dinner leftover Chinese
Wed lunch either more Chinese or Ramen
DH and I both picked up some extra hours working this weekend since we really need the money. I thought that he was working during the day so I picked up the night shift. Well we are both working at night so DS will be gone on a sleepover Friday and Saturday night. I feel horrible that he is going to be gone. Even though he loves going to see my parents.
I am so excited to eat a ton tomorrow and I don't even care if I gain 10 pounds.
I still haven't ordered her birth certificate.
There are some thank you cards that were never sent. I feel bad but it's not like I can send them now. Six months later- Thanks for the gift six months ago! "preciate it!!

That my DD turned 7months old yesterday and I still haven't ordered her birth certificate.
Here's one that really has been getting to me:
I think that most of the pictures done at babies r us/picture people etc are absolutely terrible and don't do justice to adorable babies. Your babies might have a cute smile/outfit, but with the equipment they have can they at least do something more than flat lighting and out of focus pictures with tacky background? Some of this can be easily amended with photoshop.
I think that a lot of the "done at home" christmas pictures are so much better, even ones with crappy point and shoot cameras.
I kind of want to start a blog letting people know how to do cheap lighting tricks to do this stuff at home and get creative.
IckyThump is my new favorite nestie b/c she nominated Caroline for cutest baby girl. (Aidan is pretty darn cute too!)
I feel guilty that I have a freezer full of pumped milk that probably won't get used b/c DD won't take a bottle and makes a huge mess with the sippy cup. I wish I could just give it away before it goes bad especially since the latest formula issue.
I'm annoyed that every single time we go up north to visit the inlaws (BIL, SIL, and FIL/MIL) we have to move around, stay at least two different houses over 2-3 nights, because DH's sis is so needy that she gets all upset if we don't always spend a lot of time with her family.
Also annoyed that every time we go to visit HIS family, he *has* to go on a 3 hour bike ride with his brother (he did this even the time he took me up there to meet his family for the first time... boy that was fun). I'm past the point of it being a "I don't know these people why are you taking off to go enjoy yourself and leaving me here w/ them" thing, and more a "hellooo we drove 4 fricking hours to visit YOUR family, why am I doing all the work?" thing. He really doesn't get what the big deal is, and despite 100's of times trying to explain he still doesn't get it. I think on Christmas this year when we have to spend just ONE day with my family (as opposed to 4 since they're close to us), I'll take off for 3 hours with my mom and let him hang out w/ everyone on his own.
Sheesh. Rude.

Those drive me nuts too. Who cares! There are a million and one of those photo contests and posting for a few votes on here isn't going to help you win. And if it does, you kinda cheated anyway or didn't play fair. Whatever.
It really irritates me when I see those posts and then the poster has like 4 posts total (saw this over the weekend or last week maybe). Seriously, you have time to enter your kid in a "contest" and then create an account just to try and get more votes?! Come on!
I'm canceling my gym membership because each time I take DD to the daycare I get paged w/in 10 minutes because she freaks out when she doesn't see me. I keep getting comments about how I shouldn't cancel and I should keep taking her to get her used to it because she's too attached to me and blah blah blah and I want to b!tch slap the person commenting! My baby, my way! She's not going to be damaged because I don't force her into an hour daycare a few times a week when I don't NEED to, like you're insinuating!

I think that the people who biitch about the flaming that happens are way too sensitive and need some big girl panties.
The passive aggressive comments on here make me want to biitch slap people.
I think it's funny that the same group that gave such a piss poor welcome to me (ie. "we don't want your kind here") are now preaching puppy dogs and rainbows. Well...I'm here to stay and your dog can kiss my ass because I bite back!

I hate snakes. Like, you have to turn the tv channel if a snake appears, won't open a copy of national geographic serious phobia fvcking hate snakes. i can't imagine someone feeling that way about a dog (fuzzy! lovey!). but my grandma (RIP Grandma, i love you!) was crazy scared of cats, so to each their own.
RE: buttmunch DH's on here. I gave up on trying to understand other's relationship dynamics a LONG time ago. Some people thrive on drama, some people thrive on harmony and respect.

Hmmmm..... I am strategically having DS sleeping in the bedroom next to the IL's so when he wakes up at 6 am- he can go crawl in with them and let DH, DD, and I sleep in.
Every time I see Destea1's posts, I get a little wistful. *I* want to live in Santa Cruz! Even Highway 17.
Sometimes I think leaving the Bay Area was a big mistake, even though coming to Chicago brought me to DH and DD, and I wouldn't change that.
The female side of our best "couple" friends is bugging me. She wants us to move to her expensive suburb, and keeps sending me house listings there that are in our price range. They are total, complete "as is" dumps! I know she just wants us to be near them and she's trying to be helpful, but seriously, would she ever live in these places? No. Why would I want to with my baby daughter?
I secretly like it when Hippy and friends rile up the 6-12 ladies. It makes me giggle. It's an awesome battle between rainbows and bitchiness. Love it.
FLAMED! directed at me? interested in teaching some photoshop lessons? honestly up until a year ago i've been shooting 4x5 slide film almost exclusivley, so yeah, not perfect. interested in critiquing? I'd love to hear it.
all i was saying is that there are some really creative photographers on these boards, but i think their photos could be really great if they learned some simple natural lighting and reflecting techniques. just trying to help.

- I think siggies have gotten out of control. What is this, babygaga!?! I partially blame the nest with their fancy-pants badges.
- I scroll through posts looking for my favorite posters and only read their responses. This is especially true when a post involves flaming. I just HAVE to read what Brahim, Lanie, Hippy and LOTR think about things. And I generally agree with them.
i have this same issue. with snakes and with worms. fvcking horrifies me.
let's see, my other confession - i am copping out of my sisters bday because i'm not ready to look for a babysitter yet.
I like flame free confessions (the non-dc-endangering kinds). It's one post. And how do you know if your on the rainbows or b*tches team? What if you're an inbetween? Would you be on the "bowtches"?
I hate that all the "Bump" badges have a pg lady in every one. Wtf? I started on the Knot and got kicked to the Nest. Then the Nest went all Bump....am I suppose to go back to the Nest now because I don't have a bump?
I'm not a fan of dogs. Sorry, but I hate drool and hair everywhere. Being licked doesn't thrill me either. Of course, DD#2 drools, I'm still shedding (ugh) and we're just going to leave that last one alone!
I want a sub from Subway. I'm sick of this stupid recovery and want to chew like a regular person and not have to rinse with warm water and salt afterwards!

I really don't have anything good today... ate my DH's cornbread that came with his take-out dinner, even though I knew he'd want some. Evil, I know.
We're watching Reno 911 right now. That's one that requires a confession, for sure.
DH stopped BFing 3 days ago, then re-started on her own yesterday. I was relieved to stop BFing, but am even more relieved that she started again.
My brother pissses me off right now. It's like since he moved 20m away with SIL everything his about her, her friends and her family, and none of his family matters. I like SIL but he's just got no f-ing backbone where she's concerned. And he makes me feel like he's ashamed of us for some reason.
And I like the idea of dogs. It's generally the owners I have a problem with. I'd never let my son stick his face in someone's crotch and then jump on them and drool on them. And if I did, someone would be perfectly within their rights to be pissed at me and not like my son. My brother and my sister each have Great Danes. They are big, dumb, gentle things that wouldn't hurt a fly, but that doesn't mean I want dog snout up my a$$ the minute I walk in the door at Thanksgiving tomorrow, especially since they both know that my mom and I are both incredibly allergic.
