The girl that posted last week that she's annoyed (or whatever her word was) of the ladies that nest at work pissed me off.  Especially her follow up later that day/night.  First of all, the confessions thread did not say flame free. Secondly, it's quite obvious that a great percentage of the women who frequent this board do so at work.  WTF kind of response did you expect? Get off your_fucking high horse.  My paycheck isn't coming out of your bank account, so mind your own business.

I just had three cookies for breakfast.  I am planning to have more for a snack in about 2 minutes.

I have a bad cold and it's making my ears stuffy and I am really, really dizzy.  Instead of being miserable, I am pretending I am high, which makes being dizzy much more fun.  Kind of.

I am glad my parents are leaving the day after Thanksgiving so we can have the weekend to relax.

I'm dreading going to our hometown for Thanksgiving because I don't want to divide up our time between my parents and IL's.  I secretly wish that my IL's would go out of town so we didn't have to see them at all.

i'm glad I'm working on friday so we dont have to go to ILs.  i really dont like them anymore. 

and we're supposed to do christmas with my family because we were with ILs last christmas. but i bit the bullet and told DH we could go spend it with his family.  but i only said that so i could use it all for leverage sometime later

I don't want to cook all this crap tonight for Thanksgiving.  And I really don't want to get on the road on Friday and drive 5 hours for a wedding this weekend.  I wish I could call in sick but I'm the damn photographer and I'm not even that good at taking photos!  Cheap ass bride.

I am so glad we have nothing to do with DHs mom and dad since the baby was born.   and that we will only be spending T-giving with my family.

ME TOO!  Dh's mom went off the deep end and his dad makes no effort to see Jude, so we've kind of written them off... makes life a heck of a lot easier.

I'm thinking about bailing on my BFF's "bachelorette" party because of our finances. I'm the MOH and I feel like crap for doing it, but we're all going to a nice restaurant for dinner then heading out for drinks. I'll still offer to pay for my share of the bride's dinner, but we seriously cannot afford for me to attend.

This economy sucks.

I bought a pie from a fancy bakery and am going to make my MIL think I baked it because I can't stand her rude comments and looks when I say something is store bought. She does this despite the fact that her idea of a good dessert is a defrosted cake from the freezer section.

It annoyes me how old my inlaws are. They are older then my grandparents and way more crochety. My mother inlaw is a racist, judgemental antihumanitarian who uses politics as an excuse to be nasty. Better get used to it witch, Obama is our president.

I'm trying to talk DH out of going to the IL's tomorrow.  I seriously don't want to go.  His brother & SIL are jerks who have taught their kids the not-so-fine art of put-downs and making others feel bad. His one sister is a pothead and all about drama.  The other is just a biitch.  She beat up her husband (who is a great guy and DD's Godfather), then tried to have HIM arrested because he scratched her when he was blocking a punch.  Oh, and they have a 7 yo daughter who thinks it's ok to call daddy names and is a hyoer spoiled brat.

I really, really, REALLY hate the fact that some people just decided that there weren't enough opportunities to flame people on other posts and had to take it upon themselves to declare that flame-free confessions are no longer flame-free.

And I wish we were going to my parents' house for dinner tomorrow instead of my BIL's.  I want my mom's turkey dinner.

I am probably one of the least uptight people, really.  And I do not like dogs.  I think it's because we always had them growing up, and large breeds at that.  They shed, have stinky breath, lick/drool on you, etc.  They're waaaay too high maintenance for me.

#1 - My cats are working my nerves, I wish they would figure out how to open the front door and go away.

I know they can do it because one of them opened the door to my closet and ripped the corner of the garment bag that contains my wedding dress to SHREDS.

#2 - I don't understand why people come on a message board and post all of their personal business on it? I don't give a flying flip if you are/aren't having sex or if you did/didn't have a fight with your husband or if said husband blew his load in his sleep! Dial it back people, seriously.

I think there are some goofy looking babies on here.

 It's sooo slow at work today, I'm taking an early lunch and getting a mani/pedi even though it's really not in the budget for me to be getting them anymore.

DH tries to help by doing the laundry, and I appreciate his efforts however I hate the way he sorts things.  He tries to stuff the washer to reduce the # of loads, but things end up not getting as clean.

 Well arent we both better off (:  My (out) laws which is what i now call them NEVER even showed up at the birth of their only grandchild.  Plus DH is their only child.  talk about effed up.  They were pissed at me and decided to take it out on their son who they still dont speak to and their grandson that they will never see.  THEIR LOSS.  They are whack jobs anyway.

I'm going to jump on the IL bandwagon - I'm soooo soooo soooo (I can't say that enough times) soooo glad that MIL will not be w/ us on Thanksgiving. It will be nice to have a day just DH, DS, and I going someplace w/out her judgemental asss tagging along criticizing and recommending and putting her 2 cheap asss cents in on everything. I'm glad to take care of my DS for a day w/out the peanut gallery's comments.

I'm going to miss my cousin and her family at T-giving tomorrow but I'm kind of glad she's not going to be there b/c that means she won't have her 3 crazy run around kids riling up DS and my Aunt's dogs. I'm still scared about Aunt's dogs (Great Dane and German Shepherd) being around DS and hope that it's an unnecessary worry on my part.

 Oh and there is someone that posts regularly on this board that I think needs some definite counseling and mental help but I feel like an asss recommending it to her because of her situation. I know she has things rough but I seriously worry about her mental state and how she's dealing.

DD sleeps through the night, I get plenty of sleep, my job isn't stressful and my sex drive is still MIA. 

I think that thing that falls out after the baby that they claim is your placenta, is actually your sex drive. Seriously. I want mine back.

Thanks Toosdai - I still don't think I could ever bring myself to do it. Her situation is pretty tough and she's just so down/negative/depressed about it, I worry for her and her DC. I feel like since I'm not in that situation, who am I to say Hey- get some help, snap out of it.

I think some of the women on the nest/bump are married to complete a**holes and I do not know why they put up with so much crap.  If DH told me that he expected me to be a working mom and take care of all of the household chores and DS, I would tear him a new one. 

Fortunately, DH rocks - he's at home right now making mashed potatoes and pies for tomorrow.  He's going to take care of the laundry and make up the guest beds while he's at it.

Well, maybe you and I have different definitions of 'uptight'.  Just because I don't want to be covered in dog drool or don't want my clothes, baby, etc to have dog hair all over doesn't mean I'm wound too tight.  I seriously think you're reaching with this one...but whatever.
