Sperm?!? Last night my DH tied me up with some old ties and we had some fun. Should I call my OB or can I just fax in a diagram of all our positions to see if it was ok?
Also, you shouldn't watch things on TV like "Swamp People" or "My Strange Addiction"- the baby may come out just like them because they were exposed to it in utero. You should only watch things like Harry Potter or the Avengers so they at least come out with magical super-human abilities. Word.

oh geeze, i'm sure i've had all of those.... except for sushi (sigh) and soft serve ice cream, (but that's cause my husband works for blue bell and we get the good stuff! haha)

"The present study shows that oral sex and swallowing sperm is correlated with a diminished occurrence of preeclampsia" Haha.
Crap, that really, almost, made me want to put a damper on some of our "fun". I guess the next time I'm not feeling in the mood I could always use this with DH? Unfortunately he'll just remind me that I'm not much of a swallower. BTW - This thread is ridiculously funny!!!

Nono, the whole point of the article is that swallowing is GOOD for you! It reduces your risk of pre-e! So don't decrease your fun, and you're SOL for an excuse ;-)

You forgot to say how if you happen to consume one of these things that all you have to do is post a "I decided to eat ________ and now I'm worried" post and all of your baby's extra appendages grown from eating _____ will go away.
I am not sure how any of us made it out of our mothers womb. I am sure my mom ate all of those....well except maybe for the sperm and raw chicken...lol.
Re: WARNING: THINGS YOU SHOULDN'T CONSUME WHILE PREGNANT
Smiling is also something you should avoid, as is any sense of humor. Both are extremely difficult to handle while pregnant.
Oh, and basically any fruits or vegetables that are raw, or grown outside, as they could also contain the awful listeria.

Wrong. As I responded in the Deli meat thread smoking cigarettes suffocates the bacteria in the stomach.
my doctor said that tobacco is fine, but I should cut back on the booze.
