First off, I've had a terrible week, I'm over tired and emotional and have been looking forward to the weekend to just spend every second with DD. Then, I remembered what weekend it is. MIL and SFIL are heading out of town for a work conference, so lucky us, we get to watch DH's 14y/o step brother. Not too big a deal, he's a really good kid, but there's no way I'm going to nurse DD infront of a 14y/o boy. So I get to spend the weekend going to and from DD's room everytime she needs to eat. Still not a huge deal, just an inconvenience. Then just yesterday, MIL asked if we could take her dog too, because SIL wouldn't be able to let the dog out as much as would be needed......this is where the stress come in. Said dog is a 60lb 8 month old puppy who has more energy than any dog I have ever seen!!!!! So now I won't be able to lay around and relax and play with DD cause I will have to constantly be watching out for puppy. Plus she gets our dogs all riled up, our great dane is the puppies best friend and they get eachother all worked up, my little dogs get so much anxiety that they end up throwing up when she's around for too long. UGH!!!! I really wish DH would have said no to the dog, but he couldn't, MIL has watched all our dogs too many times......so insane asylum here I come!!!!
If you read this whole thing, thanks, I just really needed to get this out. ![]()
Re: If you never hear from me again, it's because I was admitted to an insane asylum......
I read it...
Is there another place where you can put your dog far away from that other one? Maybe have the step brother watch him. Maybe pump when he is not around and bottle feed when he is?
Sounds like it's going to be a hard weekend... But hang in there, hopefully DH will step in and help out.
LOL that's what I'm really hoping for!!! We do have a fenced in yard, unfortunately, it's supposed to rain all weekend.....
I'm thinking we're just going to have to rotate the dogs in the kennels, I hate doing that but I will go crazy otherwise!
BFP #2 March 2011, Baby Girl born November 2011!!!
Good luck, try to hang in there!
BTW We also have a great dane. Her name is Jade, hence my SN. She is our "first born"
