My DS is five months old. In the last few weeks he has started
screaming when I give him his bottle. Not every feeding, but usually 2
of the 5. I am basically fighting with him to get him to eat. He gets
all excited when he sees the bottle and pulls it to his mouth but then
after a few sips, starts screaming. I have tried different
temperatures, nursing instead of a bottle, singing, walking... nothing
seems to help.
I thought it was just a phase he is going
through but it does not seem to be getting any better. He also is not
eating solids yet per the doctor's orders. And he is taking about 5-6
ounces a feeding - less during the 2-3 feedings where he is screaming.

Re: XP: Need Help. Baby screaming during feeding
I was thinking it could be that he was getting too tired but he started doing it at feeding after he just woke up. It is primarily those feedings before he goes down for his big nap or to bed at night. However, it is not isolated to those feedings. Sometimes he even does it during is morning feed when it has been almost 12 hours since he last ate.
I started feeding him before his bath at night because I thought the bath was wearing him out and that was the problem. Seemed to help temporarily but 90% of the time, he screams at his night feeding.
