Ideas of things to do at weekend (still pregnant)

So now that yet another weekend is looming and LO still seems comfortable in there, I am  wondering what we could do to pass the time. Since I can't do anything fun like a nice hike or a bike ride or a couple hours at the gym.. anything like that... And we have everything we need for the baby so don't need to shop... Any ideas of things to do?!

I was thinking we could go to a movie one evening but can't think of anything else really.

  • I'm going to go for a couple of trail walks with H and the dogs, possibly go to a movie, read, etc.

  • Go out to dinner, go out to lunch, go out for brunch, go have a picnic in a park, go to a movie or a play, play board games, read a book, do some gardening, watch TV, volunteer somewhere, go to a baseball game, go to a museum or a national park.

    The world is your oyster.

  • We are going out and getting flowers and plants for our garden and hopefully planting both.

We may also do dinner, or just enjoy time with each other, since this will definitely be our last childless weekend ever (Eeek!).

Last weekend I got a pedicure, maybe do that?

  • Well, if baby doesn't come on her own, I am being induced on Monday.  So I think DH, DD & I will go visit the in-laws 50 miles up the interstate on Saturday.  We will probably do a few walks, eat some good food and last minute shopping.  Monday I will take DD to daycare and then go home and clean, maybe a few meal preps and take a nap before they admit me at 5:30pm.

  • I have been working on a small quilt, and I also scrapbook and make cards. I am at the point that I can't do much physically anymore because I'm so sore and stiff. At this point you just have to keep yourself entertained until its time. You can try a new hobby. :)

  • Think of things that you like to do that will be hard to do with a fussy baby.  Dh and I always love to lounge at the coffee shop and play a game.  What about eating dinner at a nice place?  Watching a movie with no interruptions?  Enjoy your time as a couple since it's so much harder to get alone time once the baby comes.  Oh and don't forget to take a nap!
