I am wondering if this could be normal but my DD who is 5 months old is eating about 13-15oz of pumped milk during the day while I am at work. Usually this is broken up over 3 bottles.
My son usually only ate about 10-12 at the same age so I am not sure if my dear daughter is being over fed or if she is just a little piggy chowing down on the bottle. I know my DS drank from the First Year Breast Flow bottles which I know made him worker harder. My dear daughter refused to eat from that bottle and is eating out of a nuk nipple slow flow level 0.
My only real concern is that I am only pumping about 12-13 oz while at work so what I am producing isn't necessarly keeping up with her eating demands. I fortunatly have about a 3 day buffer built up but I am just wondering what other mommies are seeing as typical consumption during at 9 hour day for their 5-6 month olds.
Re: DD is eating 15oz while I'm at work!!
That's 3 4-5 oz bottles, right? That sounds pretty normal, to be honest.
Have you tried looking at the kellymom calculator: https://kellymom.com/bf/pumpingmoms/pumping/milkcalc/
Once again you are correct.....her ONE nap was 1:00-1:25 so I'm sure she was tired and fussy. They feed her when she fusses.

DS did this during a growth spurt for a couple days and then went back to normal. I knew it was a growth spurt because he was eating like crazy at home too.
My DD eats between 12-15 (that is up from 9-12 at about 5 months). She has (3) 4oz bottles and a 4th 3.5oz -- sometimes if she takes a long afternoon nap she doesn't eat the 4th bottle.
I pump 3 times at work and get 11-12 oz. I pump every am after first feed (around 6:30) and get an extra ounce or two and that is how I break even for the week -- prior to adding the am pump sessions I was REALLY stressed about not keeping up and she had just upped from 3.5-4oz bottles so I was afraid I couldn't do it but knock wood it seems to be OK. I eat a ton of oats which I swear also helps.
