PAIF/SAIF and everyone is welcome. If I can make even one person's journey less painful, I will consider my experience here successful. Thank you to all for sharing their stories, the intimate details of their lives, their knowledge, and their hearts. I hope this experience changes me, always for the better.
When I originally signed up I had my first & last name. A couple ladies suggested I change it so I ended up with peppermint = kisses b/c that's what was on the countertop this past Christmas! Funny I don't even like them but was tired of trying to come up with something meaningful! Ha
I tried about 15 others, which were all taken, before I went with "pumpkin" because of our October wedding and "princess" because I was frustrated about not being able to use the other names and couldn't think of anything else. I considered using work-rlated things, but I decided against it.
Mine is my first name, the first initial of my maiden name, and chem for chemistry (guilty of being a science nerd, my degree is in forensic chemistry).
One of my s/n's on another site is "CrazyChemGirl". I studied biochem as my first major before changing to nursing.
Jena is my first name, W is the first initial of my maiden name, and 84 is the year I was born. I created my name when I joined the Knot, but that was just to get access to everything, I never joined in on the boards until I moved over here.
Tamma is my first name, and 254 is the first three of my ZIP code. AOL fixed this as my SN when I signed up with them, so I've used it for pretty much everything since.... What in the world happened to my creativity?
I created my Bump Name back when I was a Knottie...every bride dreams of her Happily Ever After...that's where my came from!
Same! Mine is my knot name.. when our wedding planner asked for one word I wanted to describe our wedding, I said "enchanted." Seemed magical and special and perfect. And it was!
6/16 is my birthday.
Finished BC and not preventing since June 2010.
Actively trying for baby #1 since July 2011.
SA completed 5/29/2012. No sperm found.
11/12: Dx: Congenital Bilateral Absense of the Vas Deferens.
Genetic Testing needed as this is a mutation of Cystic Fibrosis.
IVF #1 with ICSI planned for 2013.
PAIF/SAIF welcome!
Mine is kind of random...all the others I tried were taken. I chose love just because love is great and the color pink is my favorite color & the #8 was my DH sports number in high school. Kind of cheesy I know
I came up with my name back when I was on the knot. Daisies are may favorite flower and I used them in my bouquets. I've also used it for something else as well.
My first name is Ashley, and my favorite flowers are dahlias. They were the primary flower in my wedding bouquet and centerpieces.
I love this!
Thanks! Where in the Rockies are you? I'm in Colorado~
Colorado Springs! Right by the Air Force Academy. Where are you?
NoCo - trying to remain a tad bit anonymous just in case, hope you don't mind me not saying the exact town

In response to the thread, my screen name is pretty lame and consists of DH's name and my name. Joined as a Knottie and didn't think much of it four years ago.

It's from DH's alma mater, the University of Wisconsin. Their mascot is Bucky Badger, and at every game they play "Jump Around" and the crowd goes nuts. We lived in Downtown Madison for awhile, and we are both huge Badger fans. Thus, JumpAroundBucky was born.
My name is Michelle, but go by shell, b is the first initial of my maiden name, and 78 is the year I was born.

The 80s were pretty awesome.
I'm another 1980 baby!!
My sn "Reyka" means "smoking" in Icelandic. I don't smoke, lol, but I love Iceland and have been twice in the past 3 years, including a 10-day circumnavigation of the country this past September with our (then) 10-month-old! I would move there if I could, it's such a beautiful place.
The capital city, Reykjavik, means "Smoky Bay" and was named that way because the steam rising from the geothermal vents surrounding the area looked like smoke to the early Viking settlers. I always liked that story and I loved seeing the geothermal activity during our trips there, so that's why I picked Reyka as my sn.
And the 9 is my lucky number. Born on Dec 9, married on May 9, etc.
"Cellar door" is said to be the most phonetically beautiful phrase in the English language. I learned that while watching Donnie Darko. The numbers are my birthday.

I used my cat's name. I'm pretty much terrible when it comes to making things like that up.
ETA- removed exclamation mark (really not that exciting...) and added
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have
It fits you... you still always seem happy and positive. I wish I could have your attitude just half the time! Haha I'm a naturally negative person
