Fetal Doppler - When did you start using one?

Hi ladies! I just ordered a Sonoline B doppler. I was thinking to begin using it in the 8th week. I was curious, when were you able to begin picking up anything with yours? TIA!

most doctors won't even think about using a doppler till 12 weeks. I was at the OB earlier this week and we couldn't hear anything.

I found the hb for my lo at 9w5d, but even that is early. Many people won't find it until 12 w or so sometimes. 8w is probably too early. Good luck.

I started using mine in week 9. I had to press hard angled down behind my pubic bone to fine it that early. I might have bruised myself a little... Maybe better to start trying around week 10.

I feel bad about using mine now because the baby kicks and moves away when I turn it on. I think I am retiring it for now...

Thank you! I'll start using it around the 10th week instead then! Shipping will probably take awhile too. I'm excited to see how it works b/c I didn't use one with the last pregnancy.

I found my baby's hb at 10 weeks at home. I had to press down hard and be very patient. I usually find it now pretty quick. My OB couldnt find it this morning, and I had to show her where I usually find it, and she picked it up then.
