Teeth whitening while bfing

I recently bought a teeth whitening kit mostly as an impulse buy... I had a groupon for Bling Icing kit.  After I bought it I read on it that it is not recommended for pregnant or lactating women.  I haven't asked my doctor yet but if I did it after DS goes to sleep at night and sleeps for about 7 hours, do you think that would be ok?  Anyone use a kit or this one specifically?

    I think it's a good idea to do it when you know you have a 7 hour window but would question if you can put it off until you are no longer breastfeeding? Especially if they recommend BF mamas don't use it - who knows what toxic chemicals could be passed on to your LO.
