I have my first appt tomorrow! i am excited and nervous at the same time. i will be 5 weeks and 4 days tomorrow, not sure what they were planning to do. anything in particular that i should expect?
At my OB, you just PIAC for another pregnancy test, they do weight, blood pressure, a pap if you haven't had one in a year, family medical history, answer questions. Not super exciting, but I do like the tote bag of magazines and samples they give.
Baby #3 is on the way! EDD 3/8/15 DD1--8/29/10 DD2--11/6/12
They do an estimated due date by the last day of you period and take ALOT of blood to test for std's and any other problems. They will also do a pap smear if you have not had one in over a year.

At mine, they weighed me, took a family history, took blood to confirm pregnancy & screen for genetic problems as well as immunity to various things (chicken pox, etc.), and just asked if I had any questions. They also handed me a folder with a bunch of pamphlets about what I can/can't eat and medications I can take.
Honestly, it was pretty uneventful. Last time they wouldn't see me until I was 8 weeks and they did a sonogram, which is the best part - to see that little heart beating...
For both of my first appts it was: pee in a cup, weight check, bp check, health/history, questions... all with the OB nurse. Both times mine was at 8'ish weeks.
At 12'ish weeks it will be/was: pee in a cup, weigh check, bp check, pap/pelvic if not with in the last 3-4 months and doppler for heartbeat. First pregnancy I also had an ultrasound but will not this time around.
They can't do much of anything that early. I don't think you can even hear the heartbeat yet. They will probably just do a pregnancy test and general physical stuff, maybe bloodwork. Most docs don't even do appts until 8 weeks.
